Perry: “A virtual defense zone”

Just what we need, a “virtual” fence. No thanks Rick. A real fence doesn’t vanish when some other politician decides to pander to Mexico.

I guess that you are not understanding the concept of a virtual fence.

My guess is that you have never been to Big Bend National Park or seen Lake Falcon and Amistad. You can’t build a fence around a canyon or lakes.

You can’t build a real fence over that vast distance. It would take 15 years and billions of dollars. I don’t want my tax dollars going to something like that when there are much more effective ways to secure the border.
