DEBATE SCORE: THIRD QUARTER
WINNERS SO FAR:
Herman Cain - bold strong conservative
Newt Gingrich - erudite strong conservative
and the others:
Michele Bachmann - protects Romney
Ron Paul - occasionally conservative, then on Kolob2
Rick Perry - occasionally conservative, generally weak
Mitt Romney - lied repeatedly (eg. sanctuaries, RomneyCARE)
Rick Santorum - took on RomneyCARE
Just curious...you haven’t posted anything since Sunday, but someone types “Mormon-haters” on a debate thread and you suddenly appear out of nowhere? Do you have some kind of alarm system that triggers that?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Try reading FR sometime. EVERYONE knows who the Mormon haters are. They don't "hate Mormon's", they just don't participate in any forums unless they can post HUGE posts over and over with the same propaganda about how awful mormonism is.
Get a clue. It's so much more than obvious to almost anyone here unless they've chosen to only choose breaking news.
I don’t necessarily support Perry.
I do support Texas and when someone from a State that my college could have whipped ass on disparages Texas I call’em on it.
Exactly...it is a good strategy...allow the woman to challenge Cain and that takes away any of the racial overtones (two minority classes going at it). This is a set up...betcha!
Strategically good call...so I’m not in the tank for Herman or trying to beat up on MB (although I think she should call it a night and a campaign).
He pooped in the punch bowl.
Perry and Bush are two different people who happen to be from Texas. There are a lot of people in our state!
Romney lost this debate big time.
I think a similar incident happened with Tom Tancredo.
“CNN just s*cks with many of these questions. I am so disgusted with them!”
Did you honestly expect something different?
Romney/Bachman? Yuck.
Two fakes.
He's getting close - he becomes more unhinged with each question. LOL
They should ask if Holder should be fired? The Fast and Furious issue is serious. CNN doesn’t want to cause damage to their Obama.
Of course, Ive come to think of NRO as the enemy within...
They've been completely in the tank for Romney. One of their fool commentators made a comment such that he wouldn't even hire Cain to run a pizza company.
He says that nearly every debate and it never gets old!
Mike Berry(Here in Houston) on the radio said that the 999 has flaws and actually was more negative on it than I would have preferred... But, He said something to the effect of...
999 is a schtick to get attention, because the president doesn’t set the tax policy, but that the “schtick” was a genius move on Cain’s part.
I agree I kind of cringed when there was a question and I thought he was going to 999 and HE DIDN’T!
Once again, Newt Gingrich stands out from the rest. And once again there are many on FR who refuse to consider him, whose minds are closed even as they admit he’s doing an excellent job in these debates.
It’s just obvious, folks. I wish he were perfect, and still wed to his first wife, and never made a political call that conservatives widely rejected...but right now he’s the best candidate.
Romney cant answer any question directly. Hes spineless.
First, that is a lie. Second, and of course, no one on this thread has the guts to say it, Romney is doing his usual great job in this debate as in all of them. As is Gingrich in particular, Cain, and occasionally Bachman. Bachman shouts to be heard, Santorum is a pain in the butt and whiney 24/7, Paul has his usual fanatics, and Perry is horrible tonite, but then he has been horrible in every debate held so far that he has participated in.
I think Howard Stern was talking about that stuff on the radio, long before Cooper.
