A new study says the 9-9-9 tax plan promoted by Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain would raise taxes on 84 percent of U.S. households, contradicting claims by the candidate that most would see a tax cut.
The Tax Policy Center, a Washington think tank, says low- and middle-income families would be hit hardest, with households making between $10,000 and $20,000 seeing their taxes increase by nearly 950 percent.
Those making more than $1 million a year would see their taxes cut nearly in half, on average.

This is a very, very good thing.
It broadens the base and makes sure everyone has a stake in reducing the largess of the Federal Government.
Pretty vague article. They don’t even explain how those numbers were determined. LOL They must have gotten them out of a grab bag.
And God forbid should the freeloaders who pay 0% be required to pay their fair share.
You forgot to mention EVERY FOREIGNER visiting or doing business will now directly help pay for what America provides to THEM (9%).
Every criminal who earns cash will pay on everything he/she earns as well. That is a whole lot of new income for the government.
I wouldn’t worry about it. a) Cain is not getting the nomination; b) When the riots fomented by unions and the community organizer start occurring all over the country Obama is toast; c) the economy will continue to tank meaning Obama can spend 10 billion but it won’t safe his boney, stupid, socialist, racist ass.
"Just think when Obama would run ads with this with his $1 BILLION campaign funds and tell me how people will vote for Cain, instead of Obama.
I LOVE IT!!!
The FREELOADERS will have to pitch in now. Heck, they’ve been taking from this country for DECADES.

The all out media assault on the front running GOP candidate, Cain, begins.
There is something to be said for consistency.
However, the devil is in the details.
‘The Tax Policy Center is a research group formed by two Washington think tanks: the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution.’
No Bias there. RME.
“seeing their taxes increase by nearly 950 percent.”
LOL! They had to pick a number carfully there. In fact the increase is technically “infinite” for those who pay no income tax whatsoever now. But they don’t want to use an example like that, because it’s too easy to point out the reason.
Cain has that figured out. He'll come out and say his 999 plan was a joke and that America needs to get a sense of humor! :)

Let the games begin.
That is a blatant lie. We can debate the types of taxes people pay, but 'NO taxes' is wrong.
Obama wants to destroy the economy.
Cain wants to people to pay their fair share.
Are you trying to imply that Obama would spend no money attacking YOUR chosen candidate? lol.
Since our state and local sales taxes are already over 9%, it would effectively double them. This is not a good thing.
Cain better either add fine details to his plan, or he better come up with a great explanation, or he better be able to prove they are all wrong.
Clarity, it is my belief that the interests of the Romney campaign would be to send funds from small donors to keep the candidacies of Bachmann and Santorum rolling along.
To stay in the lead, Romney MUST keep the conservatives divided.
Well we knew it would happen. I’m just curious as to how many of the posters of anti-Cain articles are members of the 50% and think their free ride should never end. I mean, GDit, they’re entitled!
