WASHINGTON—The Senate has voted to effectively block the Justice Department from undertaking gun-smuggling probes like the flawed "Operation Fast and Furious" program that was aimed at breaking up networks running guns to Mexican drug cartels but which lost track of hundreds of the weapons. Some of the weapons were used to commit crimes in Mexico and the U.S.

Tuesday's vote would block the government from transferring guns to drug cartels unless federal agents "continuously monitor or control" the weapons.

Funny when their buddies asses are hanging out there, they move with dispatch. So tell me why can’t they produce a budget in 500 days?

They haven’t passed a budget in a little over two years. Do we NEED a budget written by Dirty Harry and approved of by Evil Barry?

I thought it had ended.

Yes. This is the congress' way to "end" a program. They pass a law preventing any money from being expended on it. It usually works because the executive branch cannot spend any money unless appropriated by Congress. (US Constitution and a public law)This move by congress cuts off the money.

Has anyone else seen this? This is at least one report from the DoD that could be seen as the DoD wanting to move the war on drugs under the banner of the War on Terror. It might even be the correct thing to do if it's focus is to close down the Southern Border.

I know this is conspiracy city, but we know that the current Occupier in Chief is connect to at least two Domestic Terrorist groups, the New Black Panthers and the Weather Underground, is it that far of a stretch to come to the conclusion that Obama is arming an enemy against our own military intentionally?

“Tuesday’s vote would block the government from transferring guns to drug cartels unless federal agents “continuously monitor or control” the weapons.”

So obama can continue to arm the cartels as long as the arming is “monitored.” Wonderful.
