President Obama, who has become a target of the Occupy Wall Street protests sweeping the country, today embraced the economic frustration voiced on the streets and said in an exclusive interview with ABC News that his vision for the U.S. economic system is best suited to resolve protesters concerns.
I understand the frustrations being expressed in those protests, Obama told ABC News senior White House correspondent Jake Tapper in the interview to air this evening on ABC News Nightline from Jamestown, N.C.
In some ways, theyre not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party. Both on the left and the right, I think people feel separated from their government. They feel that their institutions arent looking out for them, he said.
Obama said the most important thing he can do as president is express solidarity with the protesters and redouble his commitment to achieving what he described as a more egalitarian society. The most important thing we can do right now is those of us in leadership letting people know that we understand their struggles and we are on their side, and that we want to set up a system in which hard work, responsibility, doing what youre supposed to do, is rewarded, Obama said. And that people who are irresponsible, who are reckless, who dont feel a sense of obligation to their communities and their companies and their workers that those folks arent rewarded.
Obama alluded to his American Jobs Act, which would be funded in part by raising taxes on wealthier Americans and some corporations in order to make them pay their fair share.

Yeah, besides the lawlessness, enviousness, anti-Semitism, incoherence, filthiness, public defecation...
I agree, they both will end up delivering lots of votes to the conservatives!
He is totally clueless about anything Tea Party...
And lack of American flags.
Not mention most Tea Party rallies tended to take place on the weekends.
There’s probably quite a bit more teabagging going on, too.
LOL!!!!
Keep him clueless

No he’s not. He’s a Marxist and has a plan to divide and conquer by class warfare and civil unrest. It’s what they do...
He doesn’t know nor does he care to know the first thing about America’s ‘Taxed Enough Already’ people.
Just like he doesn’t care to know any Republican plans to help our economy.
They've got your teleprompter.
If things get violent with the OWS mobs it could be blamed on Tea Party agent provacateurs.
Translation: "socialist society"

Which is?
No different except at the OWS, there’s public fornication, bags of excrement being given to shop owners, lack of personal hygiene, double-digit I.Q.s, lazy unemployed losers, communists... except for that, they’re the same.
But he never saw any of the Tea Party activities they were so insignificant - right? /s
Yep, first on the list in my mind is, tea-partiers bathe. :)
I keep remembering that girl’s answer on the Howard Stern video.
Reporter: Where do you crap.
Girl: Anywhere I can...as long as I have wipes.
What if these braindead robots didn’t have all the amenities that they hate so much. They are a bunch of sickos being used by a bunch of sickos and that includes the pre-sent agitator in the WH, and that’s what everyone is seeing. That’s not just my thoughts.
I think people feel separated from their government. They feel that their institutions arent looking out for them,
Actually, the idea is we don’t feel separated from our government.
Stop ‘looking out’ for us.
It is ironic, the Tea Party started as a protest against bank bailout and corporate welfare, and every single liberal politician and media personality called us Teabaggers, racists and every vile name in the book.
And these lazy liberals are now protesting corporate welfare 3 years later?
I always point out to these brain dead liberals and Occupiers that it was Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama who gave trillions to the banks and billions to the corporations when we were saying that they should fail and go into bankruptcy proceedings.
Well, one BIG difference is that Obama has never expressed any kind of solidarity with the Tea Party.
