Some people believe we have something called a “Conservative Party” in America. We don’t. If there should have been a Conservative Party, then some folks should have been brave enough to get out there and start one instead of attempting to destroy our whole system with silly attacks on our candidates. Our candidates are running under the banner of the Republican Party. Even Ron Paul. That means for any one of them to win, they need all of us. If Cain is on the ticket, I’ll overlook his careless comment on the electrifying fence. I can just imagine the optics on that one. The tv commercials showing a kid being fried on a fence with Herman Cain holding the start button. What a terrible thing to say. I know he’s a good man and regrets saying it. Conservative message? I don’t think so. Not in my lifetime. Must be a new breed of Conservative on this thread.
Please explain why advocating or using potentially deadly force in defense of this country’s border is somehow something to feel guilt, shame or regret over.
Do you think babies crawl unaided across miles of desert in +100 temps and throw themselves against electric fences for the greater glory of “My Little Pony”?
You mean like the TV commercials showing Paul Ryan pushing grammie over a cliff in her wheelchair? Yeah. We REALLY bought into that one, didn’t we?
Come on. Rick Perry should have kept his word to Texas AND to G-d and served out his term as governor. He might then have had a legacy. Now....I don’t know.
And FWIW, I think what his wife did in SC put the nail in his coffin. The whiney victim thing is anathema to a proud Texan.
Besides, then the Paul supporters could line up around the fence frying drug mules and just sniff the air, get high, and we wouldn’t need to worry about them mucking up the primaries. Not to mention the frizzled korans and terrorist handbooks. Four birds with a few volts.
