You mean like the TV commercials showing Paul Ryan pushing grammie over a cliff in her wheelchair? Yeah. We REALLY bought into that one, didn’t we?
Come on. Rick Perry should have kept his word to Texas AND to G-d and served out his term as governor. He might then have had a legacy. Now....I don’t know.
And FWIW, I think what his wife did in SC put the nail in his coffin. The whiney victim thing is anathema to a proud Texan.

Yeah. I wasn’t too pleased with that either. BUT they are a very strong Christian family. It dictates what they say and how they act. I’m pretty sure she was being sincere in her belief. I can understand people not liking it though. As far as keeping his word, Palin and others in the past have made this kind of decision. It’s not a sin.
As far as the Paul Ryan commercial goes,it’s a non-starter. He never mouthed the words that he would push grammie over a cliff in her wheelchair. Cain spoke the words. I know it was a joke.
