US News and World Report reported that the First Lady’s family trip to South Africa and Botswana this past June cost Americans over $424,000, according to new accounting information made public by Judicial Watch, a taxpayer watchdog org.

San Francisco KSFO weekend host Barbara Simpson mentioned this yesterday..

"Bighorn County (WY) Sheriff Dave Mattis spoke at a press conference following a recent U.S. District Court decision (Case No. 2:96-cv-099-J (2006)) and announced that all federal officials are forbidden to enter his county without his prior approval . . . ."

The Sheriff is the law not state and not federal LEO.

I recall a similar case in Nye County NV but I don't think it got into the courts. The Sheriff and his citizen deputies made the feds back off. It was in the 1990s I believe.
