MSNBC Expert Calls for a List of the Rich to Pressure Them to ‘Give Back’

Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski, a former National Security Advisor to President Carter and a frequent guest on his daughter Mika’s MSNBC program, made a series of strange statements during his segment on “Morning Joe” earlier today.

Talking with the MSNBC crew about the concentration of wealth in America as motivation for “Occupy Wall Street,” Dr. Brzezinski seems to believe that publishing the names of people who make a lot of money would be helpful in redistributing wealth:

Brzezinski wants anyone making a lot of money to be pointed out, but a short time later he says he does not want Wall Street “demonized.” Then, he returns to his demonizing of people who legally earn a lot of money and spend it in ways that apparently he would not. Pay close attention to his statements about “control.”

“We have to have disclosure.”

“We have to have transparency.”

“We have to have control.”

“More fair distribution of Social Responsibility through taxation and elimination of loopholes.”

“And pressure even on the rich to avoid flaunting their wealth.”

What you liberals don't get, is that in America, businesses are allowed to make a profit, make the decisions they choose, as long as they obey the law. It's called freedom. If corporations are violating LAW, they can be taken to court. Also, there are legislative checks in place protecting workers and consumer safety. Politicians write those laws, not the corporations. And let's not forget about the unions that make it possible for an uneducated worked to start at $40 per hour with full benefits. They gouge companies for every penny possible. These firms don't owe you or me. These foolish Occupy Wall Street protestors, owe themselves. If you don't like these companies, don't work or them, don't buy their stock, don't buy their products, or go out and start your own business. Risk...reward...work. America is predicated on freeedom, making a living, not on envy and excuses. If you want to blame someone, blame the incompetent socialist president and congress your fellow protestors elected. It's called acountability. The rich, which I have never been, don't us a damn thing. Believe it or not, they have rights to pursue the life of their choosing just like you. If liberals truly want to destroy this country, see it become an impoverished, entitlement cesspool, keep attacking those who made it what it is.

I caught that part, but what amazed me is how Zbig took a shot at Obama. He said America had abdicated it’s leadership role. On the financial front, and in Middle East negotiations. I think at some point he realized how bad he was making Obama sound, so he tried to spin it to make it sound like it was systemic. That the system was broken.

But, make no mistake, it was a direct hit on Obama.

From a dirty old commie like Zbig, it was amazing.
