A new poll of Florida Republicans found businessman Herman Cain leading the pack of GOP presidential candidates in Florida with the strong backing of supporters of the tea party movement. Florida Republicans who did not identify themselves as tea party supporters broke toward former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts.
A poll unveiled by the American Research Group (ARG) on Thursday found Cain, who won the Presidency 5 straw poll last month in Orlando, now led in Florida among likely primary voters with 34 percent followed by Romney, who placed second in the 2008 Florida presidential primary, with 28 percent. Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich placed third with 11 percent.
The rest of the field lagged behind in single digits. Despite finishing second in the Presidency 5 straw poll, Gov. Rick Perry of Texas took fourth with 5 percent.

All the money I saved for Sarah, will be given to Cain.
I hope there are many more like me who see Cain as the right conservative candidate who is running for the job.
Many people I know who were all in for Sarah, have now thrown all their support to Mr.Cain.
I also have had non-Freeper friends express their support for Herman Cain. I think he has great personal appeal to go with his conservative ideas.
I made my first donation to Herman Cain last week.
Here’s his official donation webpage, for any interested readers of this thread.

That's where I stand now. I hope Sara endorses Herman soon.
Agreed. Perry was always an anti-romney vote, although initially he was an attractive alternative.
"Post Implosion" Perry's vote will indeed go to Cain except for the spoilers who cannot deal with the self-inflicted loss to Cain.
And make no mistake, Perry is over. You don't recover from labeling most of your potential support base as "heartless" when your most basic policies reflect exactly what you stated. The comment caused a great many people to further scrutinize what he actually believed in and he was done after that. He did it all on his own to himself.
