Yes, I'm a lawbreaker...sheesh.In my opinion the cops have become revenue collecting thugs for state and local governments.
So just say you’re a cop hater, too.
Would you rather we do without police officers in places like NY overrun by anarchists?
Let’s just say that you are part of “the 99%.”
LOL! Let's just say your assumtions are absurd.
NY isn’t overrun by anarchists, it’s overrun by liberals. (Check the affiliations of most politicians there, if you’re still in doubt.) Meanwhile, to answer your question, I would rather that cops were peace officers and not LEOs, but then again I’d also like a pony. So long as they remain LEOs, I’m not going to like them, even if they sometimes go after criminals who deserve it - such as the criminal banksters, as yet untouched by police hands. Now, having answered your question, do you care to answer any of mine?
I agree with you.I do not like our present day Cops. They used to be peace officers, but very few fill that description these days.
But who else you gonna call? Ghost Busters? LOL.
You are lucky you live in Nevada, where you do not have to call anybody except Mr. Colt, for the most part.
It will not be long before most 911 calls will go unanswered , likely by next summer. You pay the wages of prescience on this thread.
On a slightly different aspect of the Denver police, if the Sheriff’s Mounted Posse were used, they pay for their own equipment, all expenses of training their horses, etc.
The horses were trained to not be panicked by Hippies Behaving Badly - I was one of those who volunteered to play the role of such a Hippy when the horses were being trained for the anticipated riots expected when the Dems were to gather in Denver.
We made lots of noise, banged the garbage cans loudly, and pelted the horses with chartruse tennis balls.
Well, that’s what they asked us to do, and it seemed to work.
Conclusion: Denver may not be the best place for a Hippy version of the Arab Spring delusion. Horses can’t easily detect the difference between horse exhaust and a prone Hippy protesting whatever.
When you make blanket statements impugning all police, you are the absurd one.
LOL
Now you know why they were so insistent in using Silent Spring to eradicate DDT!
I agree with you too.
Always remember the central part of Law Enforcement Officer is FORCE!
why do I have the feeling that a new South Park episode will be coming out of this...
Having lived through the Rodney King Los Angeles riots where the cops made NO showing and as I watched the armed Korean merchants on top of their stores, yes, I'd like to see it. Not one of those Korean stores were looted or burned.
I'd like to see the cops retreat as happened in LA and let the anarchist/commies go full bore until the armed populace takes out a few. They would cower back to their college dorms, parent's basements, and self-made ghettoes and wouldn't be heard from for another decade or more.
Yes, pull the cops out. I think we would both be pleasantly surprised how many good citizens actually have guns in anti self-defense New York City. I say pull the cops out in every OWS demonstration in every city and let it grow. Let's get it over with.
And no, I don't give one sh*t about some commie/anarchist kid or inner-city thug getting killed or wounded. Our best kids have been dying for our freedom and national interests from the beginning of this nation.
Put me in the "kill the communists/thugs" column by Patriotic People Power! (yes, I coined that term) Proud to be there.
I still remember it was autumn and the moon was shining
Our 60 Cadillac was roaring through Nebraska whining
Doing 120 man the fields was bending over
Heading out for the mountains knowing we was traveling further
All the fires were blazing and the spinning wheels were turning turning
Had my girl beside me, brother, brother, she was burning burning
Up walked a Baptist preachin’ southern funky school teacher
She had a line on something heavy but we couldn’t reach her
We told her that we needed something that would get us going
She pulled out all she had and laid it on the counter showing
All I had to do was lay my money down and pick it up
The cops came busting in and then we lit out in a pickup truck
Go! Get out of Denver, baby, go, go
Get out of Denver, better, go
Get out of Denver, better, go, go
Get out of Denver cause you look just like a commie
And you might just be a member
Better get out of Denver
Better get out of Denver
Well, red lights were flashing and the sirens were a-screaming screaming
We had to pinch each other just to see if we were dreaming
Made it to Loveland Pass in under less than half an hour
Lord, it started drizzling and it turned into a thundershower
The rain was driving but the Caddy kept on burning rubber
We kept on driving till we ran into some fog cover
We couldn’t see a thing but somehow we just kept on going
We kept on driving all night long and then into the morning fog
It finally lifted when we looked to see where we was at
We’re staring at a Colorado state policeman trooper cat
Go! Get out of Denver, better, go
Get out of Denver, better, go, go
Get out of Denver, better, go
Get out of Denver cause you look just like a commie
And you might just be a member
Better get out of Denver
Better get out of Denver
Better go! Get out of Denver, better, go
Get out of Denver, better, go, go
Get out of Denver, better, go
Get out of Denver cause you look just like a commie
And you might just be a member
Better get out of Denver
Better go!

The Federal Register is now over 20,000 pages long. It's virtually impossible to live a single day in America without breaking at least one law.
See my post #34, and thank you for serving.
That is just federal laws. What is it when people have power, they so quickly abuse it? From your local home owners association to the city council to county officials to state politicians to feds, what is it about power that makes people lose their common sense and their purpose to serve?
That's why I loved my time in the military (1975-1986), no politics at least at the enlisted level, just get the job done...no excuses.
See my post #34. I’m back in the game. Also, look at my tagline.
“Kill a Commie for Mommy”
