I used to love drawing Transite™ underground duct, it was as easy and simple as pie. Now the stuff used is garbage, hard to draw and install, and I HATE IT! (I'd rather pass on a job and eat peanut butter sandwiches than draw a job with any of that crap.)
We had asbestos siding on the home I grew up in, Sold to my parents my a slick salesman back in the 1950s. It was kind of a slate like material, that you never had to paint unless you got tired of looking at gray. We removed it in the late 1970s, by ourselves, using no protective mask or anything. None of has ever suffered from the ill effects of it though. I wonder though what kind of hoops we would have to jump through today to dispose of it.
