On Wednesday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee subpoenaed the Department of Justice. "Top Justice Department officials, including Attorney General Holder, know more about Operation Fast and Furious than they have publicly acknowledged," committee chairman Darrell E. Issa said.
"The documents this subpoena demands will provide answers to questions that Justice officials have tried to avoid since this investigation began eight months ago. It's time we know the whole truth."
In fact, the committee's legal assault on the stone wall surrounding the Justice Department’s collusion with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is only a waypoint in an epic, ongoing battle to uncover a scandal that involves nearly a dozen federal agencies.

Yes, there’s a lot to investigate. But the latest subpoena does not go very deep and, given the time an investigation like this takes in the face of DoJ obfuscation, it seems unlikely anyone will get to the bottom of it all. The most we can hope for (and it’s still not likely) is that some token heads will roll. Holder’s is definitely on the chopping block but he may yet slither away.

Holder will NOT be taken down and that will be the end of it. The Lame Stream Media has, in its usual interest in the “truth”, has declared this NOT A SCANDAL.
What they declare to be “Not a scandal” will be treated by the Sound of Silence.

..... Zapata’s death is the proverbial loose thread. If Mr. Holder releases the intelligence, Mr. Issa could use it to unravel a wide range of illegal activities. Truth be told, there are at least half a dozen other black bag jobs that Mr. Holder’s Justice Department would dearly like to keep under wraps.

I can’t believe the negativity on this thread. Every document was on a computer somewhere and hard drives even if erased can be “brought back”. Issa knows what he’s looking for.
I believe that not only Conservatives despise this Administration. I fully expect a number of whistle blowers will come out of the woodwork and provide plenty of information which will make the Obama crime syndicate more than just uncomfortable.
