Why won't Cain attack Romney? (vanity)

Posted on 10/11/2011 10:49:05 AM PDT by teg_76

After Palin, I've been leaning towards Cain. My only problem with him is that he's much more comfortable attacking Perry than Romney.

I'm no fan of the bumbling debator from Texas who says his base has no heart, but this cozying up to Romney by Cain is concerning.

Herman Cain remains my favorite, but he needs to show he's not running for VP. He needs to go after Romney on Romneycare tonight. If he doesn't, it may be time to look elsewhere.

The one thing Rick Perry has going for him is that he's shown he's not afraid to take it to Romney, something all of the other candidates have been hesitant to do.

How many lies in one post. He didn’t mandate it, he proposed it with an opt out provision.

He got an amazingly small sum from Merck, Obama probably got more.

If you know anything at all factual about Perry’s illegal immigration stand, I’d be very surprised.

“And Obama will continue to leak documents showing that Obamacare was initially Romney’s idea.”

Why would they? Romney and Obamacare both eminated out of fat old Teddy Kennedy’s ofice.

Ever notice the picture of Romney signing Romneycare? Teddy, a Federal, not state, elected offical is hovering over Romney’s left shoulder as the Governor signs the bill enacting Romneycare. that bill that was, of course, authored by Teddy.

There is no other reason for Teddy to have been there except that........dittos Obamacare....or did you think “congress” wrote the 2,000+ page bill overnight after Obama assumed office? Hell, they just dusted off Old Teddy’s plan again, updated/added to it in a few places, and set about getting it passed.

Romneycare/Obamacare = Teddycare.........

"I love the video that’s going around with him at the Clinton townhall. He just shredded Clinton to pieces.

Oh yes! I love that video! Cain killed Hillarycare dead in it's tracks. It was right after that townhall that it fizzled and died. LOL That's why I know I can trust him to kill obmamcare, because he is the one responsible for killing Hillarycare.

A thread asking a question about Herman Cain is going to draw posters like myself who like him.

Well, it also attracted the Posters to whom I was responding, and I have no idea which candidates they support.

Lol, maybe we need to designate threads like in the FR religion forum. (Cain Caucus) (Perry Caucus) kinda like the (Protestant Caucus) (Catholic Caucus) (Anglican-Catholic Caucus) (Mormon Caucus). /s

Ya know, its probably a good idea to know what you are talking about before you insult someone else’s intelligence.

MnJohnny hates Perry hard. But because you hate him so much, you will read crap into something that is not there.

In reality, MnJohnny is a Cain guy. So will you say “But then again, who though Cain backers think for themselves?”

Interesting, I ask MNJohnnie a question about who he supports and he moves over to this thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2791260/posts and starts copying and pasting his spam over there.

Well, I guess I was wrong. Herman Cain will fight romney without being attacked. Another thread’s headling said he’s going after romney tonight. So opps! I was wrong.

Romney must be pretty bad for you to want another four years of Obamugabe..............

Our Republic is near the point of no return in its "transformation" into a socialist Hell. We need someone who will look at government as a necessary evil not as an intrinsic good.

Romney is a Statist at heart -- his entire public service has been one of growing government. If elected, he will not get rid of Obamacare.

Let's see, we had Bush 41 with ADA, Bush 43 with No Child Left Behind and Medicare Part-D. Statists always believe first that government is the solution.

Romney will try an leave a "legacy." In his Statist mind reducing government or getting rid of Obamacare is not legacy. To a Statist, legacy is government action and more government (parasites).

I seriously believe Romney would try and tell the American people, "Let's reform Obamacare and make it better."

Romney is clueless to the true meaning of Liberty and limited government. He has NO understanding that left alone, Capitalism would provide most of our needs.

Romney will NEVER get my vote.

Who had the RACIST graffiti on their property...for years and needed to be called out on it????

First off, it wasn't "their" property but property owned by a children's charity and leased out.

Second, you assume it was racist graffiti when it's far more likely it was a descriptive name for a prolific weed which grows in that part of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

It's "descriptive" in the same way milk weed, needle grass, and cow catchers (which all grow there) are.

Another reason I believe this is that area of Texas never had any Black population of size to speak of. Especially decades ago when the lease was named.

If your aim is to smear Perry, then one false story is as good as another.

Cain killed Hillarycare dead in it's tracks

You have got to be kidding. Cain "killed" nothing. He wasn't in the House or Senate. If anybody deserves the credit for killing Hillarycare, it would be Phil Gramm (Texas) saying that "it would only pass over his DEAD BODY".

I venture to say hardly anybody knew about that townhall meeting until the video was resurrected when Cain became a candidate.

You try again.

Was it enforced? No. Because although Perry believed in it and with good reason, public sentiment was against it and he listened to the public.

He could be running for VP.

I also heard a theory floated that his entire candidacy is a stalking horse for the specific purpose of handing the nomination to Willard the Giant Rat.

I don’t get that vibe listening to Cain, but he wouldn’t be a very good stalking horse if he seemed like one, would he? For example, I wouldn’t have got the feeling from listening to him that he would have endorsed Willard in ‘08, but he did. So, bottom line is....quien sabe?

Yeah, that doesnt really “checkmate” anything I said. So will you say, knowing that you were wrong about who the poster supports, that it doesnt surprise you that Cain supporters cant think for themselves?

Fred, I chose to give you the benefit of the doubt and reply to your comment about the "RACIST Rock" as if you were ignorant. "Ignorant" meaning somebody who was just temporarily ill informed of the facts.

Well, I was wrong. You weren't ignorant of the facts. You were (as other posters pointed out) deliberately lying and attempting to smear Perry. Now that I know you are a dishonest poster I won't make that mistake again.

Don't know why you mentioned Cain unless you're a Cain man. That's fine with me. I doubt he'd like you.
