Rejection is no fun, especially if you're a heavenly rock star with a savior complex. When people with narcissistic personalities come into psychotherapy, they often complain that nobody loves them -- and they can't understand it, because aren't they just the most lovable fluffy dolls in the world?
This is not Harry Truman. It's not Herman Cain. It's a guy who loves being worshiped, and he can't accept it when the crowds stop cheering.
Narcissists are not nice. They treat others as puppets on strings. The rest of us get drawn in by their superficial charm, and then, after a while, we figure out that we've been had. As soon as we walk away, the result is a towering rage by the narcissist. We all know people like that.
This is all routine psychiatric manual stuff.

Narcissism and evil are a bad mixture. Bad things lie ahead if he isn’t extracted in time.
Millon’s subtypes
Theodore Millon identified five subtypes of narcissist. Any individual narcissist may exhibit none or one of the following:
(1)Unprincipled narcissist - including antisocial features. A charlatan - is a fraudulent, exploitative, deceptive and unscrupulous individual.
(2)Amorous narcissist - including histrionic features. The Don Juan or Casanova of our times - is erotic, exhibitionist.
(3)Compensatory narcissist - including negativistic (passive-aggressive), avoidant features.
(4)Elitist narcissist - variant of pure pattern. Corresponds to Wilhelm Reich’s “phallic narcissistic” personality type.
(5)Fanatic narcissist - including paranoid features. An individual whose self-esteem was severely arrested during childhood, who usually displays major paranoid tendencies, and who holds on to an illusion of omnipotence. These people are fighting delusions of insignificance and lost value, and trying to re-establish their self-esteem through grandiose fantasies and self-reinforcement. When unable to gain recognition or support from others, they take on the role of a heroic or worshipped person with a grandiose mission.
Alexander Lowen has also specified five major subtypes from Phallic (”Skirtchasing”) to Sociopathic (i.e., dissociative, capable of mayhem and murder) as outlined in his famous book, “Narcissism: Denial of the True Self”.

Consider the damage the ‘rats did between Nov 2010 and Jan 2011,
and extrapolate.
Aw, man....I’m all outta bubble gum!
Well, those who have bothered to examine the matter have understood that Obama is a pathological narcissist, at least since he came to the fore during the election campaign of 2008.
But I must say that this is a brilliant restatement of that familiar fact. (Or would be familiar fact if the media hadn’t struggled so very hard to cover up the obvious.) Very well written and argued. Hard for anyone to deny.
I’m sending it out to my list.

That’s where I’m coming from when I try to explain to them that Obama is going to be trying to run for president next year in an environment that has seen much more decay/colapse than it did in the last couple of years.
It’s why I don’t think he will finish his term.
All anyone has to know about Obama could and should have been known in Aug of ‘08. Here was a man who had done very little, and who was not even the official nominee of his party, contending that it was his right to speak at the Brandenberg Gate. The place where Kennedy rallied the West in the darkest hours of the Cold War. The place where Ronald Reagan sounded the death knell for communism. The place where, two years later, The Wall crumbled under the hammer of Freedom. A normal man would have felt awe just to stand there., but Obama took it as his right to elevate himself to a level few have earned, and his speech demonstrated his inanity. Can anyone remember anything he said that day, but he still thinks that he outdid the Funeral Oration of Pericles. I could see it then. The people here on FR could see it, but we’re walking a road pointed toward catastrophe because the nation could not see it.
Yep. I think the theory can be further expanded to include Islam.
Only one? I think 0bama exhibits pattern #1 a bit of #3 and a whole lot of #5.
# 5 most definitely.
The Mayo clinic definition also mentions will resort to violence.
The upshot is that Zero has a very dangerous personality disorder and we haven’t seen all of it yet.
I think one of my former bosses was a #3 Compensatory narcissist. Working for him was a nightmare. I was blamed for everything that happened. Everything I did was questioned as to why I had not done it another way, “....did you even think of ....?” questions were frequent. It eventually was too much for me to continue enduring the abuse.
I remember thinking at the time that the media was choosing the Dem candidate and making sure Obama was elected. The sheeple just fell for all the hype.
They are still trying to cover for Obama, but to a lesser degree. For example, the mainstream media, for the most part, has ignored or significantly downplayed, what is happening with Holder and Fast and Furious. It looks like Holder committed perjury....
A tax cheat at treasury.
Know nothing at the Fed.
Hillbilly at Sec of State.
Town Clown Idiot as Veep.
A perjurer at Justice!
I don't see a change in pattern here.
Predetermined scapegoats every one!
OMG, I have never had THAT experience. Especially if there is a problem you have NO DOUBT you will be blamed. OHN!
Now that Zero is ALONE, looks like the WH staff have been buying DriFire underwear.

All in all, DriFire underwear and other performance products are the protective equivalent of the humorous ‘asbestos underwear’, with none of the discomfort. The next time you settle in for a flame war on the Internet, or wage war against flaming infernos in a structure fire, or prepare to march into the battlefield, spare a thought for DriFire base layer apparel - it just may mean the difference between a comfortable afternoon and getting burned.
Of that I have been certain since watching the '08 campaign unfold. Fortunately he hasn't been hardened by challenging life experiences like Bonaparte was so he is likely to make an utter fool of himself when he tries to get tough.
