This Thursday, Philadelphia CBS radio host Chris Stigall interviewed his colleague regarding her investigation, asking her to put the storys significance into perspective.
Since the very beginning, those who knew a lot more about this case than I did, including officials who work for the Obama Administration this is nothing particularly against him or anyone else who happened to be in charge they have said this is bigger than Iran Contra. They have said this is bigger than Watergate. Attkisson replied.
The CBS investigative reporter also noted, The idea that this started as one whistleblower that pretty much all the officials were painting out to be a liar an ATF agent in Phoenix. And to see where this has moved over the months to officials admitting, okay this program was going on but it was isolated to Phoenix, Arizona. Then saying, okay people did know about it at ATF headquarters, but thats where it stopped. To saying, ok the White House and DOJ did know about Fast & Furious but they didnt know about the details.
Stigall asked Attkisson whether Justice Department head Eric Holder was aware of the operation when he testified before Congress in May.
Attkisson answered that, Fast and Furious was mentioned at least as far back in memos to the Attorney General as July, 2010. There are briefings from two different organizations, the National Drug Intelligence Center that went directly to the Attorney General as well as from Lanny Breuer, the head of his criminal division in DOJ that mentioned Fast and Furious.

...lost track of...That just won't fly. We already have several ATF field agents on record saying that they were ordered to stand down and let the guns go.

...Im betting it easily goes as high as Holder, and Im talking about the planning level, not the briefings; it could even go as high as the Presidency, which is when it blows beyond Watergate. Some information is beginning to surface about who came up with this brilliant idea.
has sources claiming Obamas man in the State Department, (former) Deputy Secretary of State Jim Steinberg, was the State Department operative who helped Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and the Department of Justice Deputy Attorney General David Ogden formulate the strategy that led to the tactics used in Operation Fast and Furious. Steinberg took office as Deputy Secretary of State on January 28, 2009
A little more than two years later, it was announced that Steinberg's time in the Obama State Department was over. From the New York Times, 30 March 2011:
Mrs. Clinton heaped praise on Mr. Steinberg, describing him as an indispensable partner. On every foreign policy challenge, big and small, he has helped formulate our policy and oversee its execution, she wrote. Mr. Steinberg, she said, played Oscar to Jack Lews Felix, referring to Jacob J. Lew, her other deputy, who left earlier this year to become Mr. Obamas budget director.
The State Dept. led DHS which led the DOJ which led ATF, the FBI, the DEA, ICE and the USBP but none of the heads of any of those agencies nor the Pres. had any idea what this super-multi-agency operation was about?
More on the architects will be coming out soon I think.

and if that effort was intended to be used by the administration to weaken our 2nd Amendment protections.I initially thought it would be a stretch to prove this gun control motive...but the memo's now turning up seem to show exactly that...no alarm at the guns that have walked...only anticipation of the "next stage" of the operation.

I don’t want to see Obama removed from office, or Hillary replacing Obama in the election, especially if it happens late in the primary process.

I've seen Sharyl on TV a few times and think she's a really good looking woman.

This is exactly why so many will go to prison. Occam's Razor cuts through the fog and misinformatzia.

It’s too big to coverup isn’t it? Too many tongues to keep quiet. Too many records to erase them all. Too many bodies to brush it off as trivial.

Which is both proof that they are morons, and a caution. They might be morons, but cornered rats are dangerous. Especially stupid, cornered rats. They don't know what they are doing. They cannot fathom future cause and effect. A murder conspiracy with a cast of 100s in a half-dozen federal agencies? And they thought they would keep it secret?
Never underestimate the nack for morons who have been thrust into power to do something truly, amazingly stupid. Perhaps F&F was just their opening act. Now they have about 15 to figure out "Plan B," or they may go to prison after the elections. I would put NOTHING beyond them. Over 200 are already dead. "After the first, they are all free." Hang for 220 no more than hang for the first 200. THey could do ANYTHING at this point, including fomenting riots with a mind toward a Hugo-Chavez coup. It can't work, but remember, they are STUPID. F&F is proof of that.

I would expect a rash of inter-goon "cleanup" work adding to the body count from here on out. I wouldn't want to spend much time in close proximity to some of the players here. No ride-sharing with mid-level agents and staffers who were in on strategy meetings.
Things are gonna get tense between the hands on the Rodham Ranch and the boys from the Big-0 outfit, pardner. ;^)

And I suspect thats exactly what it was." I suspect that what you suspect is 100% correct. It's the most viable explanation, all things considered. After all, The One did say that he was working on gun control 'under the radar'.
Now we know what he meant.
