BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Terrified by Alabama's strict new immigration crackdown, parents living in the state illegally say they are doing something that was unthinkable just days ago -- asking friends, relatives, co-workers and acquaintances to take their children if they're arrested or deported.

These “parents” rolled the dice and came here illegally. They knew there was a possibility of the gravy train ending at least in Alabama over it.
Craps, they lose.
Hell, move to another state, lather, rinse, repeat.
Attempting to givadamn...
This is just BS. Why do they have to leave their kids here? They are perfectly free to take them with them. If the kids are anchor babies they will still be US citizens and can come back legally when they are grown. Only a heartless a**hat would leave their kids behind. To hear the MSM tell it, they(the illegals) are forced to leave them(their kids) here and that is just BS.
“Wouldn’t it be great if Cain wins the nomination, gets elected and appoints Sarah to AG?”
I’d rather see Sarah as Energy Secretary...but won’t complain as long as she gets a high-ranking position. It will certainly be lots of fun.
Llorame un rio.
People who break the law, are scared of the consequences...?
is this something new or improved ? I’m missing the point, somewhere.
With Holder sending 1,000 of guns to Mexico, the children are safer here.
What kind of parents would leave their kids here? If the kids’ parents are Mexicans, Mexico considers the kids Mexican as well. The parents could take the kids with them. Whenthey are old enough, the dual citizen kids can return to live their lives here, if that is their wish.
Alternatively , they could simply move to California, Illinois, New York or some other Democrat “sanctuary state” that welcomes illegals with open arms, doubtless with voter fraud the objective.
This is a phony story crafted to garner sympathy.
That is one thing I had trouble wrapping my mind around with Operation Peter Pan. How much fear would you have to have of your homeland circumstances to consider handing your kids over to total strangers, knowing you would probably never see them again, and in some cases knowing they were so young that they wouldn't even remember you?
Maybe I'm selfish and/or naive but I'm pretty sure that I would have to be dead for someone to take my kid.
You could move to Texas and before long your kid might be graduating from UT.
Good. They fear deportation? Try returning to your loser countries. What don’t you understand about I L L E G A L?????
Get your sorry, illegal, unwanted rearend back to mexico with your brood and don’t come back unless invited. Problem solved.
If Hussein Obama would stop sending .50 cal rifles to kill them it might be a bit more comforting.
If AL and AZ laws are effective, illeglas will migrate to other states, which in time, will have to adopt their own AL style laws to survive. This could end up a states snowball. We may not even need the feds.
How do you deport 20 million illegals?
Get them to do it themselves - one at a time!
Lady, take your kids home, to where you came from, no problem.
You could move to Texas and before long your kid might be graduating from UT.”
While the Texas kids are SOL cause there’s no more room?
While the Texas kids are SOL cause theres no more room?
.....take that up with Rick he’s the one with the bleeding heart.
Well, they sure ain’t coming to Arizona. Unless they pass through on their way to California.
“Five years ago this article would have started a major flame war here.”
I lurked was a long time lurker and do remember a pro illegal supporter by the name of Dane. Is he still around?
It is really hard to believe how little I care about the legal plight of illegal immigrants. My feeling of indifference strengthens when I reflect on the restrictions of immigrants to Mexico.
