Shucks! I kinda liked the old Rick Perry.
It was refreshing to hear the truth and a spade called a spade. No PC bs. Bernake a traitor and SocSec a ponzi scheme. Right on, Governor.
Btw, Reagan said much worse.

LOL! I know what you mean, and I bet we’ll still see alot of the old Rick, but with a shave and a haircut and a shoeshine! :)

I agree...I knew they’d tone him down...and that is what people liked about him. Once, he is off the ropes, I’ll have someone close to his family tell him to go back being Rick Perry. His value voters speech had a few great remarks.

Perry's initial appeal was his straight talk. Then he shot himself in the foot with his dumb-as*ed shilling for special treatment of illegal aliens. So now he's going to improve his appeal by talking more nuanced?
The guy is beginning to look more and more like Mitt Romney. If it comes down to that, people are going to buy the RINO version with more polish.
Either that, or buy the real conservative available in black.
