Now, this is only a guess, but I'm thinking neither the author or the editor ever had a gun in their hands.
Pointed it at her while loading.... ???
THA’S hard core.

Ya know, that thought crossed my mind but I immediately dismissed it. After all the MSM tells us they’re professionals and I’m sure they’d never make a mistake. LOL!!!!! It seems the press has this mental block when it comes to guns. They consistently get it wrong in such silly ways. That and they seems completely uninterested in ever getting it right.
My favorite is "perky Katie Couric", during the Washington, D.C. shootings some years ago, telling a SWAT officer that she understood that what made the shooter's gun so deadly was because it had "spirals in the barrel". The guy's face showed he had a major WTF moment, but just tactfully said "Yes.". Rumor has it he ruptured his sides afterward from laughing so much.
LOL, is that like the shoulder thing that goes up? ;) Liberals are the original flat worlders.
BING! We have a winner!

Hence my Steel Rain comment.
The Metal Storm multiple projectile launcher is another “Steel Rain” candidate. It launches a series of projectiles in masses. Theoretic cyclic rate is 1 million rounds per minute (if you didn't have to manually reload with new modules).
This may not have been the intent of your comment, but I don't know about “Steel Rain” other than in terms of the MLRS or the Metal Storm multiple projectile weapon.
Ah, what did I win, I really want my own jet, one like Rush's.
I’m kind of wondering if maybe, when the reporterette asked a hunter in the office, he decided to have some fun with her and gave her that line.
