Well, he made a speech so he looked like he was doing something productive.

The better news is the up-tick in the Somewhat Disapprove to 57%. Drip....drip....drip.

I wonder what it's like under the rock where this 20 percent lives. Or is it that they're just brain dead?

20% believe any loony idea. It is just a part of life that there are a percentage that will believe that the moon is made of cheese, the government blew up the twin towers, or that cow flatulence is warming the earth. He’ll I bet 20% believe OJ is innocent.

If you add up the unions and the news media I bet it adds up to about 20 percent. I don't see the 20 percenters abandoning their golden calf.

From link:

..President Obama said Thursday (speech) that the Occupy Wall Street protests show a “broad-based frustration” among Americans about how the U.S. financial system works. --

Obviously, Barack Obama was reverting back to his old community organizing days. In his early years, Barack Obama, the community organizer, sued banks and lenders to ease lending practices.

State Sen. Barack Obama and Fr. Michael Pfleger led a protest in January 2000 against the payday loan industry demanding the State of Illinois to regulate loan businesses. (NBC 5 Week of January 3, 2000)

How about a Rasmussen poll question on whether of not the public thinks Obama is a SPENDAHOLIC ?

I've had conversations with people who think Obozo is doing a “good job”. And when you ask them for one example of something he's done that actually help the US, they were dumb enough to trot out the $1 trillion stimulus package. I pointed out that, since that money was spent, unemployment has actually increased. Their response: Just think how bad it would have been had he not done that! Man...it's like trying to reason with a rock.

Strong approval seems to be fluctuating in a lower equilibrium band than ever before. Strong approval has settled back in at its highest historical band. We are 13 months away from (hopefully) solving this problem.

My sense of this is that the more active Obama is, the worse his ratings. His ratings seem to improve around his vacations (which may explain his frequent junkets). If that is true, he will suffer greatly during the peak of the campaign season when his exposure is maximized.

"...Barack Obama, the community organizer, sued banks and lenders to ease lending practices." Easing lending practices? Isn't that what started this depression???
