Hoping to chart a new path forward in the wake of the controversial "Fast and Furious" investigation, the newly assigned head of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said Wednesday that "everything is under review" in the way of investigative practices and processes at the agency.
“We've got to hit the reset button and move forward," acting director B. Todd Jones said.
The furor over "Operation Fast and Furious" focuses on tactics used by ATF investigators in Arizona to target major gun-runners. Launched in late 2009, the investigation planned to follow gun purchasers in hopes that suspects would lead them to the heads of Mexican cartels. But high-powered weapons tied to the investigation ended up at crime scenes in Mexico and the United States, including the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry late last year.

I caught Senator Grassley on NYC’s WOR Gambling Show this morning. Unfortunately he sounded either senile or incoherent.

Nothing more than getting fired or reassigned for conspiracy and being an accomplice to multiple murders is what passes for justice for those people who enforce those kinds of laws over us. Remember the murderer FBI agent Lon Horiuchi who killed Vicky Weaver and her son? Remember the FBI, ATF hot siege on Branch Dividian Compound in Waco Texas under Janet Reno who had to call in the Delta Force Army Unit commanded by Gen. Wesley Clark who then torched the compound murdering innocent men women and their kids? Janet Reno’s testimony to Congress was they had to kill the children in order to save them. Not one of those people have ever been held to account, in fact, our Gov. pushed reset on both.

Actually there was SERIOUS talk about doing exactly that nearly 40 years ago. Remember the term “jackbooted thugs” to describe the ATF? That term was coined by none other than John Dingell (D-MI) when his committee was investigating ATF abuses in the 1970s.
The real reason why the ATF was not disbanded then was because their personnel were so substandard that no other federal agency would take them. And so, the cancer was allowed to fester and spread and grow.
Is ‘reset’ the new word for ‘cover-up”?
No. It’s the red button on the new shredders for when they overheat..
Why is everyone focusing on the “reset button” part? He also said, “move forward” —something considerably more revealing:
He’s saying that with 2 officers and 3,000 Mexicans dead that WE SHOULD SIMPLY FORGET ABOUT ALL THIS.
“Move on” was formed during the Monica Mess, and their real message was, “All this unpleasant stuff should simply not matter”.
The expressions, Move On and Move Forward really mean, “You’re pestering me with stuff I don’t like and I prefer to ignore it...”
