It is going to be Romney...he will likely do everything he can into talking Rubio into the #2 position. Then it is hold the nose time. I am probably amongst the very few here who think Romney will beat Obama (that's my silver lining on the dark cloud). I don't like Romney, but I can see that he will pull enough independents and p.o'd business type Democrats (believe it or not, they are out there) to win. He's getting it the only way he ever could, with the most ridiculous Democrat in the history of ridiculous Democrats as the sitting president.

Take a deep breath!

This is the same SP that called Cain “the flavor of the week” right?

SP is a patriot. She will back Perry for POTUS, just like she backed him for TX gov.

Mitt won’t win. And the good news is that Elmer Fudd can beat Obama, and so let’s make sure that we nominate a conservative Fudd. Go Herman!

Possible, but not necessarily. By all accounts he should be where George W Bush is back in 1999 based on his organization and money. A lot of people just don't trust Romney, including me. Romney was also the establishment choice in 2008 and could not beat a dead in the water John McCain. That says something about his electability, and not what the pundits think. Revisionist history has McCain as the establishment choice. It wasn't. It was mostly Romney, followed by Giuliani.

There's a large enough anti-Romney vote to deny him the nomination. Whether it is Perry, Bachmann, Cain, Huntsman, or someone else remains to be seen. It depends on their organization and ability to get the votes of the undecideds.

I think Palin made a smart decision for two reasons. One, she didn't create an anti-Palin candidate. That would have been Romney. Palin, like Romney, has enough people who view her negatively enough to vote against them to stop the other candidate. Two, her endorsement power. Palin has a big enough following to get a lot of supporters to support someone based on her word. It's like an NRA endorsement.

Yes, Romney is a douche, but if Palin calls the RNC to feel them out, and they say “Screw off, we’re not funding you, we don’t really want to deal with you,” then what’s she supposed to do?

Her only option is 3rd Party. 3rd Party splits the GOP vote, possibly causing the Malicious Moslem to win another 4 years.

She mentioned that specifically in the Mark Levin convo, and it’s a major point.

I will not, repeat, will not vote for Romney. I am still beyond pissed that I was forced to vote for McCain. I will not do that again. I will not vote for Romney. I will stay home with all the food and guns and ammo and lightbulbs and everything else I’ve stockpiled and watch the world go to hell.
