I like her, and hoped she would run. But now, after seeing this thread, I don't blame her one bit.
She called on people to be tough... "Mama Grizzlies". Too bad a lot of her supporters turned out to be baby weasels; the kind to flee the country, or complain that they bought her products, or whine that she is responsible for any problems the Nation will face in the future.
It turns out that some of her supporters have a lot in common with the Obama people. They have made her out to be a messiah, on whom all of their hopes and dreams were dependent.
Just wish her well, and get over it.
I’m with you 100%. This is really bad news. My opinion is that voting will not solve the mess we are in.
She represented the very slim chance we had for straightening things out without having to hit rock bottom.
I’ll vote for Cain. Knowing that things are probably going to get really nasty in the next few years.

I was your Omaha O4P coordinator and spent the last few months (and many more before that as a general supporter) taking arrows, slings and all sorts of crap for you. I spent a lot of money and a lot of time.
In 2008, on election day holding a McCain/Palin sign, I was spat upon, accosted and threatened. I did it for you, not McCain.
I attened your speeches, drove long hours, and met lots of nice people. I bought your books and DVDs.
I thought you would of had to class to tell us months ago that you weren’t running and now I feel strung along.
You burned me.
So now, the MSM celebrates, the GOP elite celebrates, your detractors celebrate. Why? Becasue they won. They now have a proven method of taking out conservatives. All that’s left are the RINOS and the Statists. You just gave Obama four more years. Your main appeal was that had the potential to be POTUS. Now, you’re just another voice in the crowd who will fade into the night. The name Dan Quayle comes to mind.

There is no candidate.
Not one that can do what absolutely has to be done to salvage the country. Our problem is mostly elitist corruption, and all except Cain are very much a part of that corruption.
I wish Cain were different, not supporting the Fed, and business killing tax schemes, but he is who he is.
We are toast.
Apparently you missed the numerous threads where anyone who wasn’t wholly behind Gov. Palin was labeled, among other things: homosexual, PDSer, “concerned”, troll, RINO, DUer, RomneyBot, supporter of the Huckster, Democrat, liberal, etc.
This is a significant development at FR not only because many people have been waiting for Gov. Palin to announce her candidacy, but because a subset of those same FReepers were downright nasty to anyone who didn’t agree with them. Not only were they nasty, after they ganged up on fellow Freepers and drug them through the dirt, they’d then celebrate on the thread giving, as one FReeper put it, “high-fives”. For me, the whole Palin candidacy question has been a real eye opener. And not in a good way.
