(Reuters) - Labor unions including nurses, and transit workers were set to join the growing anti-Wall Street movement march on Wednesday through New York's financial district, and some college students walked out of classes in solidarity.
The American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees, Communications Workers of America and the Amalgamated Transit Union said they would be joining the protesters voicing discontent and anger over such issues as high unemployment, home foreclosures and the 2008 corporate bailouts.
The nation's largest union of nurses, National Nurses United, also said it would join the New York march, set for late afternoon in downtown Manhattan.

Yeah, a bunch of public sector workers, paid by taxpayers’ dollars, marching with the Maniacs on Wall Street. That ought to go over big with the working men and women of America.
So when some of these college students walk out of class in solidarity it will leave the class room full of nothing but Asian Americans and foreigners.

I am beginning to think that the Big “O” is hoping for a flare up and violence that can be blamed on the Tea Party no matter who is responsible. This has the smell of the 60’s and Van Jones all over it.
I wonder what they were bribed to go? Free box lunches or straight up cash.

Nurses shouldn’t be too bad but there will be bloodshed when the AFL-CIO shows up.
Labor is NOT just joining up now... that is their public stance. Labor IS and has been (yes they are has-beens) founders and community organizers of these rabble-rousers.
Furthermore, it sounds to me like they enjoyed trashing the Wisconsin capital so much, they thought they’d have a go at that kind of effort on a much bigger scale.
