Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is turning up the heat on Eric Holder, demanding the attorney general “come forward and at least admit” he knew about “Fast and Furious” long before he told Congress he learned about the gun program.
The chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said on Wednesday that Holder “failed” to properly answer questions during a May House Judiciary Committee hearing about when he first learned about the controversial gun program.

My only hope is that Issa has a TON more information and evidence from the July 4 meeting with Melson than has been leaked already.

Issa just loves the cameras - we need more Business and less Show Business. He is doing good work and seemingly asking the right questions but as he has pointed out himself, it is a race against time. He has just over 1 year to get it done! Stonewalling is a wondrous thing.

Not only will he get off, the media is beginning to blame Bush and Gonzales.
I happened to be scanning channels this morning and caught the CBS morning show. I have no idea who is on it or what the name of the show is but I caught the words “fast and furious” and stayed on that channel.
I heard “Bush mentioned numerous times and do not recall the word “Obama” a single time. They talked about it starting 4 years ago and how she had tried to phone Gonzales but he didn’t answer.
They did mention Holder but only in the sense that “the republicans” are going after him.
I just knew they were going to do this and now they are. Same old same old.
Maybe the Obama administration was getting some sort of kickbacks from the cartels. I wouldn’t put anything past these crooks.
I agree. Republican on TV yesterday (can’t think of name at the moment) stated that in asking for a special prosecutor to investigate, he WASN’T alleging perjury.
