Leading House Democrat: ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protests, Van Jones part of US ‘Arab Spring’

The “Occupy Wall Street” protests and former White House “green jobs czar” Van Jones are the beginning of an “American Fall,” according to Rep. John Larson, chairman of the House Democratic Caucus.

In Tuesday evening remarks before a group of visiting activists and journalists from Egypt and Tunisia, Larson said the United States has drawn inspiration from revolutions in those countries and, as a result, is experiencing its own “Arab Spring, if you will.”

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller following his speech, Larson said left-wing activists with “the right morals” are pushing America’s democracy to “evolve.”

So where is Boehner, Cantor, etc. raging against this kind of talk? We have a perfect opportunity to paint these cretins as the rabble rousers that they are and our stupid party leaders are silent as usual.

So are the DEMOCRAT politicians in Washington. They don't want this tied around their throats, either. Have you noticed that?

They know who and what is fueling this, and they don't want to get anywhere near that fire! They KNOW they'll get burnt by it worse than anyone else.

This little "Reform through peace"" movement has been taken over by the Communist organizations and anarchist. I think many of the kids down there will figure it out and go home. The others will be the Democrats greatest nightmare.

Funny I haven’t thought of that. I have pounds of it - many - I mix it in the cats’ food to keep worms at bay (did get rid of some bad worms in one cat using DE) and got rid of a bad skunk-caused outside flea infestation. Also plan to use in garden if one every happens. But I forgot about its use in storing food! Thanks for the reminder and method, I was thinking I’d have to mix it in the food which would be troublesome and use a lot more.

The protests are a Communist Revolution. The kids haven't been told that by their "leaders", though. They're just told to hate the capitalist. They don't know communism is what's left over afterwords.

Some one should tell them. I wonder why the press isn't saying anything. Alerting the viewers to this Communist Revolution is really a bigger story than just a bunch of kids having fun in NYC. Their peaceful protest has changed into a communist uprising. Now THAT'S news.

Agree with all your points but I worry the dumbed-down public doesn't know it's the Democrats and the unions that are ultimately behind this. It's terrible politics for the Dems and I want to make sure all the Joe Six Pack voters know they are responsible.

The Dems would be out there every day pinning it on the Pubs if it hurt us and I want to do the same to them because it works. Our leaders assume everybody understands this stuff but they really don't.

Actually they need to stay as far away from this as possible. The less said about them, the lower their street credibility.

What needs to be happening is an infiltration into their ranks. The message needs to be scrambled up and the propaganda redirected.

IF we are dumb enough to give them cred. martial law will be declared before the elections.

IF we do nothing, SHTF after the election of a republican president.

IF we take it upon ourselves to have the courage to infiltrate and redirect the propaganda we may have a last chance to either defuse this or their anger will appropriately turn on DC.

There are also plenty of ACORN radicals & SEIU agitators having indoctrination sessions at the OWS rally . Also in all these other rallies you will find folks collecting names & contact info for folks who look like good prospects for further indoctrination & training in how to be a rabble rowser.

Hell pajamas media got ahold of a copy of their training manual & also videos of speeches by likes of Van Jones & Francis Fox Piven urging the trainee agitators to work for & be prepared for peiods of street protests & bloody street fights/riots. This thing is now being co-opted by the Democrats, & the original organizers are making noise but are getting ignored by the OWS attendees doing their zombie chant /lecturer speaks-everybody repeats routine.

Agreed come winter this will thin out but the contacts will be make & further plans for protests will be made.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what I expect but I would want someone to pin him down on who he thinks the "good" Democrats are so we can see how delusional he really is about that subject. He should have been asked.
