how about ...
Perry is merely a different face of the same GOP Establishment coin. He is Bush's "compassionate conservative" moderate vrs the liberal wing of the GOP in Romney. It's the 2000 McCain vrs Bush fight all over again.
Perry is Romney lite. Like Bush he is another social conservative/political moderate talking tough to win the GOP primary. He will then go to DC and be a good little Establishment water-boy just like Bush.
The difference between Perry and Romney is which issues they will choose to focus on. Perry will be a staunch social conservative big spending, crony capitalist, Romney will be a social liberal, big spending, big government crony capitalist.
When give the choice of either Romney or Perry, Conservatives should say "neither".
This is one of the reasons you Perry supporters are in such trouble. This arrogant assumption that we MUST choose Rino A to stop Rino B.
No, we do not.
Well, “NEVER” works for me.
(If Mittens was a Gypsy, he could read the tea leaves. As it is, he’ll just have to consult the skidmarks in his magic underpants.)
Even if Perry were great now, there’s not enough time since he supported Gore.
“Quote of the Day: Its Now or Never for Mitt Romney.”
I say NEVER.
It will take the GOP establishment another month to realize that Mitt will NEVER be the nominee...his base of support is capped at between 25-30%..and the vast majority of the base doesn't want him.
Cain's rise is amazing, but also, look at Newt...absent any real exitement, unlike Cain, he's risen steadily in the polls..I wonder if Cain/Gingrich could be the ticket?
Go home romneycare, you great, flaming RINO...
Mark Levin opened his radio show with this last evening. He was livid about Romney’s demogoguing on Social Security.
He went on to say that he cannot vote for Romney. Believe it or not he has never said that before, and he continues to say he has not yet chosen a candidate to support. But he has now decided that, among Republican candidates anyways, it will not be Romney. It will be one of the others.
In the general election, he said he will vote to get Obama out. If he has to vote Romney to get Obama out, he will steel himself and do it, but if will not be a vote FOR Romney.
He specifically mentioned Romney warning Seniors against a “Perry Scheme” on Social Security as he again and again puts down the truth that SS is a Ponzi Scheme. You could tell he was scared that Romney could be our nominee, and angry.
He didn’t say this part, but I’m adding it. Herman Cain is in the Romney Camp. Putting those two things together is even scarier, because that would, or could, mean a Romney/Cain ticket, or a Cain endorsement of Romney, leading to a cabinet post.
If you add the chance, and I’m only saying a chance, because I don’t know, of Sarah Palin getting in, look at what you get.
It chills me to the bone.
Considering what he did to Massachusetts, preferably never.
