CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson has been doggedly covering the ATF and DOJ scandal surrounding the gunwalking Fast and Furious case. And now shes coming out with some juicy details about her attempts to get information from the DOJ and the White House regarding the case.
On Laura Ingrahams radio show Tuesday, Attkisson said she was screamed and cussed at by the White House while trying to get information last Friday, and that a DOJ spokesperson yelled at her while she was trying to get clarification on the case. And she named names.
Ingraham: So they were literally screaming at you?
Attkisson: Yes. Well the DOJ woman was just yelling at me. The guy from the White House on Friday night literally screamed at me and cussed at me.
Ingraham: Who was the person? Who was the person at Justice screaming?
Attkisson: Eric Schultz Oh, the person screaming was [DOJ spokeswoman] Tracy Schmaler, she was yelling not screaming. And the person who screamed at me was Eric Schultz at the White House.
Why such the reaction from the spokespeople?
They will tell you that Im the only reporteras they told methat is not reasonable, she told Ingraham. They say the Washington Post is reasonable, the LA Times is reasonable, the New York Times is reasonable, Im the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think Im unfair and biased by pursuing it.
You can listen to her tell the story below (the revelation initially comes at the beginning and then picks up again at the 6:00 mark):

Get a clue, media. The 1st Amendment is not free.
ditto.
Obama’s and Holder’s people are thin skinnned. Mmmmmmm, Mmmmmm,Mmmmmm.
Yep. Getting close to the target gets the most flak.
They say the Washington Post is reasonable, the LA Times is reasonable, the New York Times is reasonable, Im the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think Im unfair and biased by pursuing it.
It’s not only Eric Holder that has some explaining to do, but also the News Chiefs at the Wash. Post, LA Times and NY Times.
Well she just outed the other news papers as being totally in the control of the white house.
Exactly! I wonder what they really are afraid of. How much did Brian Terry know? Has anyone asked his friends? Was he about to become a whistle blower? Was he set up to be murdered to silence him? If I were his parent, I would want to know.
Hardly a mention of this story on ABC, so they are “reasonable” by WH standards.
Read Sharyl Attkisson’s bio @ Wiki. She’s kind of a hottie.

I wonder, too. Bless his family and the families of others who have been murdered as a result of the TREASON!! It makes me frikkin’ SICK!!!
Hitler screamed too, in his bunker, as the end approached.
Reasonable = in the bag
Not thin skinned ... they are scared Sh*tless !!
At least the ‘Iran-Contra’ scandel didn’t get a U.S. Federal officer killed on American soil.
The tracks all lead up to the head of the DOJ , and into the WH .
This is NOT an ill-concieved investigation into illegal guns ,.. because there was no ability to conduct an investigation (into Mexico).
This was a bungled set-up , by U.S. officials to prove a point that US guns were being used to arm the drug gangs of Mexico, so as to curtail the 2nd ammendment rights of American citizens and firearms dealers.
It was bungled set-up because what they ( the WH and the DOJ ) did was ILLEGAL , and the tracks lead to their front door.
They armed a Foreign National (Mexican Cartel) and provided arms and ammunition to a foreign combatant , who seeks to destroy the USA .
This is a violation of their “OATH of OFFICE” , and led to the death of at least 2 Federal officers in the line of duty. The firearms used were left at the scene of the crime and are directly traceable to participation in these ‘botched investigations’ . The officials involved are therefore accessories before and after the fact , and are crimninally chargeable.
I wonder who they are going to throw ‘under the bus’ on this one ... ?
I can see why the dems might like her a whole lot, and fear her:
In July 2011, Attkisson was nominated for an Emmy Award for her “Follow the Money” investigations into Congressional travel to the Copenhagen climate summit, and aid to Haiti earthquake victims. [6] Attkisson received an Investigative Emmy Award in 2009 for “Outstanding Investigative Reporting of a Business News Story” for her exclusive investigations into TARP and the bank bailout. In 2002, Attkisson also won an Emmy Award for her Investigative Journalism about the American Red Cross.[2] In the same year, she co-authored a college textbook titled Writing Right for Broadcast and Internet News .[7] In 2003, Attkisson was nominated for an Outstanding Investigative Journalism Emmy Award for “Drugs, Money, and Safety”; reports on prescription drugs and vaccines. [8] In 2010, she received an Emmy Award nomination for her investigations into members of Congress, and she also received a 2010 Emmy Award nomination for her investigation into waste of tax dollars. [9] In 2006, she was one of a small number of female anchors covering the 2006 midterms.[10]

They say the Washington Post is in our pocket, the LA Times is in our pocket, the New York Times is in our pocket, Im the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think Im unfair and biased by pursuing it.
THERE, Fixed it!
This ladies goose is cooked at cbs, but I couldn’t be happier to see a pro once in awhile, just to demonstrate the contrast...
She has been an attack dog on this. If she gets fired, fox will pick her up.
