Indict Eric Holder (Yesssssssssss!!!)

Scandal: A major-league pitcher was indicted for lying to Congress about steroid use. Administration memos show Eric Holder lied about what he knew about Fast and Furious and when he knew it. What's the difference?

Somewhere, Scooter Libby must be scratching his head. He was indicted and convicted simply because his recall of when a meeting occurred differed from others. He didn't lie about a gun-running operation that led to the deaths of two American agents and at least 200 Mexicans.

But Attorney General Eric Holder did, according to memos obtained by CBS News and Fox News.

They show Holder lied to Congress on May 2, 2011, when he was asked about when he knew about the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' Fast and Furious gun-running operation. He told House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa he was "not sure of the exact date, but I probably learned about Fast and Furious over the last few weeks."

Holder learned of the operation as early as July 2010 in a memo from the director of the National Drug Intelligence Center informing him of an operation run by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force out of the Phoenix ATF office, under which "straw purchasers are responsible for the purchase of 1,500 firearms that were then supplied to Mexican drug cartels."

On Oct. 18, 2010, one of Holder's chief deputies, Lanny Breuer, chief of the Justice Department's Criminal Division, told Holder in a memo that prosecutors were ready to issue indictments of a few gun traffickers involved in Fast and Furious.

A memo the day before from Deputy Attorney General Jason Weinstein to another lawyer in the Criminal Division, James Trusty, asked if Breuer should do a press conference when Fast and Furious became known.

Right. Indicted. Tried “In Absentia”. And THEN blown to pieces with a drone fired missile.

Holder, quite simply, has lied to Congress, although the defense now being offered is he didn't understand Issa's question, doesn't read all the memos sent to him or was otherwise out of the loop.

Holder and his defense are lying, plain and simple.

Indict, prosecute and if found guilty, jail time is warranted.

I believe that Holder will be the sacrificial lamb on this one; even though, I believe, with every fiber of my being, that this mess goes all the way to the top. Holder set this mess into motion, there is no doubt about it.

If Obama was out personally peddling the phony “90% of Mexican guns come from the U.S.” statistic before the F&F operation went down, wouldn’t it be natural and expected that Holder and people in the WH would have discussed the activities of the federal government in respect of the guns-to-Mexico issue with Obama?

If, knowing of his interest in this matter, they DIDN’T tell him about this, then what DO they tell him?

What a great point..! Is a baseball player held to a higher standard for legal behavior than the most powerful lawman in the USA..?

Makes it really simple.

And remember —the more accurate number for the number of Mexicans killed by F&F guns so far is actually 3,000.

50/50 nothing will happen.

Ruby Ridge was worse. Nothing happened to any feds.

Waco was worse. Nothing happened to any feds.

Filegate was worse. Nothing happened to any feds.

This partisan hack should never have been confirmed by Congress in the first place. They should have known from what he did in the Marc Rich pardon alone, but they didn’t even really bring that up did they? They just let him skate on through because he’s black and the president is black and they were afraid to be called racist. Now good people are dead because of them.

Will Congress ever wake up and grow a pair?

No way, I want Obama on this deal. You indict and convict Holder, the MSM will paint that as the end and Obama gets off scott free.

Watergate was the biggest scandal of all time, right? Nixon was forced to resign because some republicans broke into the DNC to pilfer campaign information. Whopeedo.

Obama is responsible for killing Americans in an attempt to make the case against the 2nd Amendment.

Which one is the bigger deal, hmmmm?

Forget about Congress. I think we all know how they scratch each others backs and let the rest of us eat cake.

What I want to know is how long regular Joe Americans are going to shake their tiny fists in outrage, yet do nothing?

NRA says that holder under klintoon, let the background check system go down for months one time. Hence not one gun sale in the country at that time. They say once it was down for 2 months.

If a Republican Senate wouldn’t impeach Bill Clinton for blatant perjury, not to mention the crime for which he was never charged — selling technology secrets to the Chinese, there is no way the current Republican leadership will even consider impeachment of Holder.

I should have said, “If a Republican Senate wouldn’t convict Bill Clinton . . .”

I’m with you. One way to get Holder to sing is also to indict him as an accessory in the deaths attributed to the scandal. That means at the very least, life at Supermax. Make him an offer to come totally clean for a country club minimum security joint and he will make Barbara Streisand’s singing ability sound like a broken record.

Do not get your hopes up.

Nothing will happen. We thought the Clinton crew was slick, the obama crew gets away with everything that no one else has, nor would.

Obama will slick out of office and become a venerated former president. That is partly the machine, the rest of it is the 55% of the electorate that does not care, or willingly does and ignores this administrations problems.

Far slicker than bill Clinton with the 100+ arkancide deaths. Right now you can trace over 2000 Mexicans that died because of Fast and Furious gunrunner case. Far slicker than the Clintons ever were.

Obama and wife will be with us, ONE OUR DIME, for DECADES. There is a good chance we will live with a loaded SCOTUS that many here helped in to create.

See my tag line and look back at it since before the election!
