ELECTION 101: 10 things to know about Herman Cain

Confirmation of this comes with Gallup’s new Positive Intensity Score numbers, which are created by subtracting the percentage of strong opponents of a particular candidate from the percentage of strong supporters. Cain’s POS is now 30, the highest for any GOP candidate this year.

“Cain’s straw poll win, and his resulting gains in recognition and positive intensity, may have made him a legitimate contender for the Republican nomination in Republicans' eyes,” writes Gallup analyst Jeffrey M. Jones.

No, the idea is to run Palin against Cain so that Romney wins.

Why when Sarah has already said about Herman: "I'm one of his biggest fans."

And:Sarah Palin:“Herm Cain is the one up there who doesn’t look like he’s part of that permanent political class. He came from a working class family. He’s had to make it on his own all these years. We respect that. He has an automatic connection with the electorate. We can all relate to him. He knows the issues and problems we face every day and he’s determined to do something about it.”

It’s pretty hard to brand Sarah Palin as a “racist” after the McGinniss book, no?

No, the idea is to brand Palin as a “racist.”

Take it to the bank, this is one of their big plans.

You’re confusing yourself between true premises and false ones.

That, and the guy has come by his paychecks honestly.

Lots of people are tired of the permanent grifter class in DC.

No, you are wrong. Palin vs Cain helps Romney run up the middle.

You seriously believe that Palin can beat Romney and Cain? I don’t see it.

How are Sharpton & Jackson & Obama going to brand Sarah Palin as a “racist”, when, as a young woman, she had a relationship with a black man?

Well, slice it any way you want, Cain comes out on top, like cream.

And cream has a very brief shelf life.

My idea would be to run Palin with Cain so Obama loses.

Simple physics, really.

If not completely waterlogged, wood floats. Herman Cain has quietly demonstrated vastly more competence in business sense, skills at using language, and an uncommonly good natural disposition, making the fellow almost instantly likeable. Plus, he is not owned by the “country-club” Republicans (RINOs) who, like the Bourbon royal family of France, “learned nothing and forgot nothing”. They cannot pull his strings, if they can even find any to pull.

Romney, on the other hand, is all too happy to “go along to get along”. Rick Perry, no matter how well liked he may be in Texas, just does not translate well to the rest of the United States, but then, neither would John Wayne in today’s world.

But all the time, the real opponenbt now sits inj the Oval Office, and so far, not much has been done to call him out.

Suggestions: Go after this “crony capitalism” and its collection of loan “guaranties” from the Federal Treasury. Inquire SERIOUSLY into the Gunwalker “Fast & Furious” transfer of military sidearms to the drug cartels in Mexico. And not incidentally, dismantle a lot of the extralegal regulation that has gone on in the name of “preserving” the environment, or restoring the full faith and credit of the US government, when the steps taken do nothing of the kind.

Herman lost me when he pulled a "Sharpton" about the big rock in Perry's hunting camp. Instead of recognizing it for what it was - a plot to get perry out so romney would step in, he went all politically correct on us.

I'm tired of being lectured about race, from Herman or anyone else. If "race" is driving the wagon, let me off now.

And cream has a very brief shelf life.

Maybe, if it's scum that was simply "whipped up" by con-artists who wanted to drive off the real conservatives, like the Perrybots who backed Slick Rick Perry. Hey Rick: Al Gore might have a job for you in one of his carbon-trading rackets. Give him a call.

She’s right. He’s the ONLY candidate who is not part of the permanent political class. The ONLY non-politician.

Politicians got us into this mess; I’m willing to give a businessman a chance to get us out.

Well not to pick nits, but cream lasts much longer than milk. The more fat the longer a dairy product lasts in the fridge.

Yup. All his life Mr. Cain has risen like cream. This is his biggest challenge and he is rising, again. I don’t know if he will be the winner of the primary, but I like and respect him and think he is absolutely a good addition to the debates.

But what do I know...like Palin I’m a racist!

You don’t get it.

They’re going to brand her as a racist, and this plan has nothing to do with any false claims made by McGinnis in his book.

I’ll take it a step further: the left’s plan to brand Palin as a racist is not going to work.
