For the first time, documents appear to show Attorney General Eric Holder was made aware of the Operation Fast and Furious earlier than he claimed - up to NINE MONTHS EARLIER. The documents seem to contradict what Holder told a House Judiciary Committee on May 3, when he said he could not recall the exact date, but he'd "probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks." Other documents also show, contrary to earlier reports, the Justice Dept. was aware that ATF agents under the department's direction were involved in "gun walking." When agents "let guns walk" they stop surveillance and allow criminals to transfer weapons to others. In this case, that meant allowing the guns to cross the border into Mexico.

I just posted the CBS version of this story and they have a statement from the DOJ that Holder MISUNDERSTOOD the question!!!!!
Holder didn't want to be caught and thought he could cover this mess up. He has been an outrageous Attorney General.
Maybe when “my people” throw his ass out of office, “his” fellow democrats will start to understand that the American people (all of us) are fed up with the WA DC status quo, and we want political leadership that rebuilds this country into the greatness that it can be.
Time for Obama to accept Holders resignation.
US Govt tries to convict baseball player for perjury over he said - he said testimony. Yet documented lies to Congress by Holder so far get a pass.
I can imagine how this briefing went:
“Eric, we have been doing this really cool thing- we have been selling illegal guns to mexican drug cartel so that we can follow them to mexico”
Holder: “um....Whose idea was that?”
“Oh and some of those guns were used to kill american police officers..”
Holder: “I see.. Ok... what’s for lunch?”
He can barely read at a 6th grade level. If you watch him testify to Congress he can only recite things he's memorized ~ guy cannot adjust to a subtle difference ~ which pretty much proves that he's functionally ILLITERATE.
He fakes it pretty good.
Same with Obama ~ he has to have his teleprompter or he simply loses command of his thoughts.
People like Axelrod and his crowd in Chicago are behind these people. There are a lot of them ~ Holder, Obama, Jerrette ~ that crowd, are just FACE MEN (and maybe women).
Regarding high order "illiterates" I had to work with several former Washington Redskins over the years ~ they had a friend or two on the Board of Governors and they'd get a job in our shop ~ we always had folks departing for better jobs, or finishing up their law degrees and such and getting promoted so there were usually several open vacancies around and they'd stick these guys in on us.
Unfortunately for those guys you had to be able to talk on your feet, as well as read and write to a very high level. Our "top boss" for a couple of years had come from a background in Operations where he could always depend on a "wordsmith" to take care of things ~ and fill in for the illiterate but otherwise effective folks ~ didn't work in this case and he soon found himself shipped off to the volcanoes of New Mexico. But while he was there the top brass thought he could handle their buddies from the football team.
Well, one thing led to the other and next you know we had Barbara Jordan's grand-daughter on the staff. She's a nice enough lady, and smart, and absolutely unable to write, and I don't mean "write at a high level", but rather "write at any level". Terrible situation for her ~ and us ~ so we didn't get rid of her until some other office had a higher level vacancy ~ then she got out of there to a promotion!
This sort of thing has probably been crammed down at a number of federal agency headquarters operations in DC, so the incoming administration in 2013 is going to need to do background checks on all their mid-level and top level career administrators to make sure they can clear the decks of the illiterates who front for Chicago lawfirms.
It's kind of a slick way to take care of your friends I suppose, but it's when these jerks start misusing these people to ADJUST policy that it gets to be a major problem.
Good chance this is what happened to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as well. Be good to do some in depth investigation over there once we get the Democrats out of the way. We really do need to find the people behind this practice and deal with them with serious prison time!
Do you have any idea what was going on in the F&F project when Obama told his nutroots that they were working on gun control “under the radar”? I lose track of the timing of things, but it would be interesting to see if there’s any correlation there.
I also wonder how the timing of F&F ties in with Giffords’ shooting, which the left immediately used as a reason to call for gun control.
Apparently “they” were afraid that one of the ATF gunwalker guns would be tied to Loughner (maybe it was??) and that’s why they were prepared with trying to make him a rightwing nut case.
This is what we have speculated he was speaking of by “under the radar.” But there is far more and farther reaching spokes to this. 2nd Amendment issues are just a small part of it.
The Giffords shooting was what scared them to death. They WERE afraid loughner had gotten hold of a walked weapon. That is when the whistleblowing began,
Problem is about 90 percent of the American people are saying Fast and Furious? What is that a Vin Diesel movie?
At least Bill Clinton was a good liar. This gang is not only corrupt but STUPID.
I can’t believe Obama didn’t know about Fast and Furious. If he did, he’s more culpable than Holder. If he didn’t know about an international criminal scam going down in his own administration it broadcasts to the world his total incompetence. Either way he loses.
Sad but true. The libs always rely on the public’s lack of attention to important issues and the liberal MSM downplaying or ignoring such crimes. But I think this F & F is so bad it may have legs despite that. As always, the attempted cover-up may result in additional crimes.
We can now guess that this would prevent him from talking intelligently about how it was he came up with the idea of buying a gun!
The court says he's improving so keep giving him medication. We may soon find out who the Giffords shooting leads back to.
