Hank Williams Jr. Pulled From Monday Night Football After Comments Made on Fox News By Alex Weprin on October 3, 2011 6:02 PM
Musician Hank Williams Jr.who doubles as the voice of ESPNs Monday Night Footballhas been pulled from tonights broadcast as a result of statements he made on Fox News early this morning.
On Fox & Friends, Williams said this of the so-called golf summit, which saw President Obama and VP Biden playing golf with House Speaker Boehner and Ohio Governor John Kasich:
Come on! Come on! It would be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu! adding Theyre the enemy! Obama! And Biden! Are you kiddin me, the Three Stooges!

I saw the interview this morning and did not think he said anything wrong!
“Sieg Heil”
Or in Obama`s case.. Sieg Fail.
,,,,,, why hell ,,, now Hank can go on the talk show circuit ,,, and really blast the manchild .
I’ll give you a hint: C O L O R
You know the answer: Rev. Al talks crap that they like, Hank Jr. talked crap they didn’t like. I’d much rather have private companies playing PC games than the government forcing policies onto us based on PC principles.
The Media thinks that Hank just compared Hitler to Obama.
Imagine how angry they would have been if they thought he actually compared Obama to Netanyahu ? Perish the thought !
I think entertainers should not use their access to microphones to express their political views. Barbara Streisand, Linda Ronstadt and others ...
“Shut up and sing” IOW.
If you don’t want to boycott MNFB on ESON then you can let their sponsors know of your concern.
That’s ESPN not ESON.
I watched it as it happened, and Hank Jr. did not "compare" Obama to Hitler.
Rather, he was making the point that Boehner and Obama are as far apart on the political spectrum as Hitler and Bi Bi are/were, and have little business playing golf together. He was disgusted that Republicans are still reaching across the aisle, and I am with him on that.
I must have missed where someone lost their job over the "take those son of a bitches out" comment that referred to the Tea Party people.
While I can agree with you on principal, I would like to see ESPN/NFL boycotted until they respect HW Jr’s right to free speech.
Can you imagine Ted Nugent and Hank Williams Jr, doing musical shows together with political patter too? I love the image of two decent and dedicated Americans speaking up, speaking out, speaking the truth.
Do you want to party???
Hell yeah!
Let’s throw in Larry the Cable Guy for more humor.
What a show. What great Americans!!
Yes that is exactly what he said, as it is obvious as long as the Obamination is in effect we will all become political prisoners for speaking the truth.
Stupidly? For telling the truth?
Now who didn’t see this coming?
Hank speaks his mind and gets shat upon. If he were that gutter tramp garafolo, he’d get a raise.
Now I realize I’m in the minority, but as I loathe footie ball, Hank not being involved with the nfl can only be a good thing.
Stick to your guns Hank, don’t let the bastards get you down.
