Another presidential candidate and one possible contender will be on the Liberty University campus this weekend.
GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain will do a book signing on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Liberty University Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Cain, radio talk show host and former president and CEO of Godfather's Pizza, will be signing copies of This is Herman Cain from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is scheduled to speak at the Extraordinary Women Conference on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Libertys Vines Center. The conference is not a public event and is not being sponsored by Liberty University.
To have four declared or potential presidential candidates visit Liberty University in one semester is clear evidence of how Liberty has emerged as the preeminent Christian university in the nation. We are honored to have Sarah Palin and Herman Cain on campus, said Chancellor and President Jerry Falwell, Jr.
Cains visit will mark the third 2012 presidential candidate on campus this year. Rick Perry spoke in Libertys convocation on Sept. 14. Michele Bachmann spoke on Sept. 28.
Cain last spoke at Liberty in 2009. This is Palins first visit to Libertys Lynchburg, Va. campus.

I think Mr Cain dealt with “the N rock” issue pretty well on Hannity. Time to move on. He’s too good to get sucked into that lose lose clap trap race business.

Cain/Palin 2012.
Put the CEO in the executive spot, and the "rogue" reformer in front of the Senate and acting as a WH Congressional Whip of sorts; smacking around Dems and RINOS alike.
A guy can dream can't he?

I’m kinda dyslexic. I like Palin/Cain better. Let The Rogue out there with the big picture, let the exec run point over the Senate.

She has more political experience. That would be needed in the trenches more.
He has the executive and customer-facing experience. That would help in filling the cabinet with the right people and using the bully pulpit to bypass the DC establishment from both parties.
But, as a the team they would definitely move things back to conservative policies, no matter who was in which role.

It’s a line from Casablanca. Proper definition in this case may be “what are the odds?”.

Proper definition in this case may be what are the odds?.Well, considering they are both scheduled to be there the same day, I'd say the odds are excellent.

I disagree. I think the private sector guy, used to dealing with the politics of the board, stockholders and wall street, would be better dealing directly with the congress or more specifically, the Senate. It’s not like he can’t advise the chief in other matters. I don’t see him being an embarrassing dope like Biden. Palin will put him to work.
Either way, we got the right two people in the mix.

I don't know which was funnier -- Nauti's quote, or CC's question, "Are you calling Liberty U a gin joint?" {^)

I’m the proud grandmother of a Liberty honor student. If NN knew something that I didn’t, I was on my way to get that young man.
