Obama policy setting troop killers free in Iraq
The Washington Examiner ^ | October 3, 2012 | SeekTheTruth

If a cop and a promising student were gunned down and the shooter was caught, only to be freed after four years, the outrage would be palpable. Politicos would fall all over themselves to register their indignation and the press would be on it for weeks.

It happened in the case of New York State Trooper John McKenna and Pace University law student Michael Glover, who were serving in Iraq with the Marine Corps Reserve. Yet this story is virtually unknown, even though the injustice is enormous and systemic.

Five years ago, Lance Cpl. Glover, having put a scholarship on hold to volunteer for combat duty in Iraq, was the pointman on a patrol outside of Fallujah when he was killed by a sniper's bullet. Capt. McKenna, Glover's platoon commander, earned a posthumous Silver Star for giving his life in an attempt to save Glover.

Months later, U.S. troops captured their killer, Muhammad Awwad Ahmad. Recently, the families of the fallen learned from the Defense Department U.S. forces turned Ahmad over to Iraqi authorities in June 2010, and that an Iraqi court set him free four months later.

our hearts are breaking for our Troops over there. I invite you to watch this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4cLnjIAbac). Look at the faces of these Brave Warriors, their morale is lower than I have ever seen it and they are tired of seeing their Brothers killed and maimed as this administration continues it's policy of appeasement

They certainly didn't seem to be buying the happy horseshit that the General was selling.

Pinging so I can view later. I too am very upset over the killings of our troops by those who are suppose to be working with his FOR their own country. What is happening in Afghanistan since Obama took office is criminal.

I continue to refer all who read this thread to go back to post #102 and read that long post to the end. Then please join us in sending an email to the members of the Armed Services Committee whose email addresses are listed.

We need to urge our members of Congress to do everything in their power to help our troops in Afghanistan and also those who remain incarcerated for actions committed in war.

Please thank your son for me for his service to our country. And thanks to your family too, as I know the families of our heroes serve right along with them.

It has been my experience during my travels that most Americans know nothing about what our troops face in this war on terror. They also know nothing about the fact that we have members of the US military in Leavenworth prison while this Administration frees known terrorists to return to the battlefield. We need to stop this travesty!!

Thanks so much for joining us in sending an email to all on the email list in post #102. I copied and pasted the list into my send box and sent a nice note yesterday to the members of the Armed Services Committee. I will be sending another note this evening.

I hope all who read this thread will join us in urging our members of the Armed Services Committee to take a stand for our troops and stop leaving them in a situation where they can not trust those they are trying to help!!

I will give him your thanks. He is right now at my home on leave with his family. He returned from Afghanistan at the end of January, but was unable to come home until this past Friday night.

My son has given me a small glimpse into what is going on over there, and it's not good. A little more than a week ago, as a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, I stood in a flagline to honor an Army soldier who was KIA in Afghanistan. After the funeral one of the PGR members, during a late lunch, stated he had heard this 22 year old soldier had been murdered while in a guard tower. The death is "supposedly" still under investigation, but indications are that it was a "green on blue" murder. Add to that the recent murder of a soldier who was in a video chat with his wife when he collapsed and died (along with all the previous U.S. and coalition forces who have been killed by "friendlies") and I would suggest we have a huge problem. And, Obozo is responsible. If Congress had any spine at all they would be clamoring for Obozo's impeachment.

God Bless your son. And yes, I know the terrible conditions our heroes have to endure has NOT improved at all. I also believe we American citizens have not been told about ALL the “green on blue” murders that have taken place.

Please refer back to post #102 and read Bob McCarty's request letters to the Armed Services Committee. Note that Mr. McCarty has not received a reply.

It is our hope that many emails from many Americans will help Mr. McCarty get the answers he seeks....and will let the Congressional Armed Services Committee members know that we are counting on them to stand up for our troops!

Subject: Call To Action: More Disrespect of Our Military & Their Votes!

http://electionlawcenter.com/2012/05/15/south-carolina-election-commission-argues-against-complete-ballots-for-military-voters.aspx

Please call Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina. He is a fighter and called for docking of pay at Justice over Fast and Furious! Please call his office and voice your outrage over Ms Crum’s utter lack of respect toward our military and their voting rights!!! Maybe Ms Crum should have her pay docked! You know, back in the good old days, employees like this would be fired! Congressman Trey Gowdy...(202) 225-6030. I just got off the phone with Marrielle in Gowdy’s office, lovely girl, I told her I wish all our Congressmen had the courage to fight as he does! I advised her about this matter and she said she will surely let the Congressmen know what Ms Crum is up to!

Please call folks, fight for our military as hard as they fight for all of us! And Please forward to all your lists! Thank You

Their non-response to Bob's request is unacceptable!

Dear Congressional Staffer:

Since contacting you six days ago for help in obtaining information from the U.S. Army via the Freedom of Information Act, I've received nothing in response. Zero. Zip. Nada.

Without any response soon, I will be left with no alternative but to describe you and your boss(es) by name as being "indifferent to the plight of U.S. warfighters in Afghanistan" and "complicit with Army officials in hiding details related to the so-called 'Green-on-Blue' attacks in Afghanistan." Those descriptions, by the way, will appear in my upcoming writings about this matter, one of which is my next book, due out before by October 1.

For background, please read my May 10 post, Request for Copy of ‘Green-On-Blue’ Handbook Results in 30 Days of Stonewalling by Army, and the updates that accompany it. Hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely, Bob McCarty, Investigative Reporter Author: Three Days In August: A U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier's Fight For Military Justice Blogger: BobMcCarty.com Contributor: Breitbart.com
