We will rally behind a nominee . . . if it is the right nominee.

Bull crap. I will not vote for Romney, Perry, Huntsman, Gingrich, or Paul AT ALL in the Primary or the General. So McCain, you are 100 percent WRONG.
To: rabscuttle385

McCain: GOP will rally behind a nominee Many of us are no longer GOP directly because of idiots like mccain.
My advice - don't count your chickens before they hatch. If romney's the candidate, the people may simply look elsewhere for an "acceptable" candidate, or at least palatable.

I agree, there are three conservatives standing., cain, bachmann, santorium, their is no choice to be made at this point in time. But hell would freeze over before I would vote for an illegal suck up like perry.

I’m not voting for Palin after what she did in Arizona for McCain last year.

Vote for, yes.... reluctantly. When the alternative is Zer0, what else can you do?
Rally for... NO, NO, and furthermore. FORGET IT.

Well, I really love Obama. He is a Great President! What he did in Libya was wonderful. We should reach across the aisle and work with him and the North Viet...uh, uh, I mean Democrats more...
It is those crazy tea-party people we have to watch out for...
War hero or not, McCain is a die-hard Liberal. He is farther Left than most Democrats. And he is great at sucking down the kool-aid. Whatever Obama tells him to say, he is right there with it. No questions asked.
I think he is more than a little off. Don't know what happened to him in that POW camp, but it may be affecting him more and more as he ages. JMHO

Why is it every time I think of Milt Romney, I see Lindsey Graham, Jon Huntsman and Olympia Snowe in supreme court justice robes and hear the words “David Souter” in my ears?

To: rabscuttle385
I’m not sure where he gets this “wisdom.” I’d make sure to vote for Perry, Cain, maybe Palin if she jumps in—but Romney? Only if there’s a local battle that needs a good vote.
Do you get the feeling that the voters are being taken for granted here? ;)
