No, it’s Al Queda that is suffering revenge attacks by the USA. As for Al-Awlaki - he’s a 14th. Amendment citizen who had no allegiance to the US. He went overseas to attack and kill Americans. He’s (was) a combatant, not a private citizen of a country he disavowed.

Yeah, right.

So the people who hate us and are trying to kill us are going to have more reason to hate us and want to kill us.

Like they’re not trying their damndest already.

At least this way they have reason to fear us. I’ve read some expert opinions that killing off their experienced, talented senior leadership does have an effect. The replacements may be motivated and enthusiastic but they don’t have the moxie.

Meanwhile, that many more talented guys have reason to rethink their career choices and maybe decide to take up nonviolent pursuits.

Actually this is my only problem with this. These guys are like shark’s teeth and we need to kill the shark. Otherwise, 40 years from now, we’ll be seeing news of another dead muzzy in an endless line of dead muzzies.

Total war. Leave them devastated and starving and they’ll be too busy struggling to survive, to look for revenge. In fact they need to be afraid to seek revenge.

I think we need to kill them all at once and any left alive should be cowering in their caves.

Actually I’m a bit surprised. I figured Al-Awlaki would be a strong candidate to replace Biden on the 012 ticket.

That will never happen if Ron Paul is president. That guy is sympathetic to these terrorists. Ron Paul scares me.

Gee, no kidding? I guess that little warning cost us, what, a billion bucks? Is it me or is our government simply becoming useless?

Is it possible that the government and those who profit from this 10 year WOT BS work overtime to try to keep the sheeple afraid. If we forget and get lax will they come up with a new reason or “Patriot Act v3.0” as a reason to strip away more of our rights?

Live Free or Die (NH State motto)....We’re turning into a police state, and in lieu of that I will take my chances with the so called terrorists.

He declared war on the USA by his actions and deeds. That made him a combatant though not necessarily of any country. If you were to go overseas and start attacking American troops what do you think would happen to you? You think the FBI will come for you? And again, he was a 14th. Amendment citizen with no allegiance to the US whatsoever.
