Doesn’t matter...everyone here probably found the threads where Toby is an Obama drooling fanboy and registered Dem. I just saw the source AP and they found the lone country star who loves fags.

Then why ask, Toby?

Something in the Columbia River (in Nashville) maybe?

I know the Country Hollywood may tend towards the superficial, but wishing upon America special recognition of a status of two guys or two gals (and maybe Great Danes, whips & chains, etc.) who shack up together, ought to be beyond any common sense pale. Toby Keith’s image had been far better than this — apple pie, the flag, and motherhood. Why’d he jump the shark?!? It’s America that makes a great subject for the country stars — not vice versa.

Keith also weighed in on the military's now-repealed "don't ask, don't tell" policy that banned gays serving openly in uniform. He says that anyone with the training and passion should have the right to defend the country, adding:

"Somebody's sexual preference is, like, who cares?"

^^^THIS^^^--->>Uh .. Maybe the guy in the bunk next to his!?

Just another coward, afraid of p!$$!ng off the Sodomites .. who have been PUSHING their Sexual Preferences down everyone's throat for over a decade now!

“...he doesn’t see the reason behind getting into people’s personal lives.”

Gays are the individuals who with to publicize and politicize this issue concerning “personal lives”. They want all of us to walk in their Gay Parades and SUPPORT their abhorrent sexual perversity.

Toby Keith isn’t firing on all cylinders.

I don't either - but unfortunately, when you get gay marriage, you get political correctness, you get gay lobbies for special advantages, you get re-education, you get full-on attempts to change the culture, you get attacks on and prejudice against Christians, you get it on TV, and you get it in the schools. I'd say its the gay marriage advocates who are getting into MY personal life.

Toby is one of the good ones for crying out loud...I am not so sure that his favoring rump humpers in the military isn't some tactic of his to focus on music. That said, he had better come out in support of the GOP nominee or he risks losing too many fans.

Toby, it's not about us getting into people's personal lives, it's them bringing their personal lives into our faces. Gay marriage is about two things. Number one, destroying the traditional nuclear family. Gays know this, it's why for so many years gay marriage had zero traction among the gay community, and even today, it polls just barely in the majority for gays.

Number two, it's about forcing acceptance. It's about taking crude and lewd behavior and pushing it into people's faces, of commandeering churches and community centers to host their weddings, and flaunt their lifestyle. They want it in the schools, they want it in the colleges, they want their lifestyle everywhere, because without this, their lifestyle dies because no one joins it.

There's very very few ‘gay’ eleven year old boys, but if you tell them over and over again that it is ok to be gay, that you were born that way, it creates a whole new crop of flesh for them to exploit and corrupt. You take normal development and you exploit it, turn something normal into deviancy, just to fulfill the next generation.

So, no, Toby, this isn't about homosexuals shacking up, or about marriage. It's about an attack upon our society by those who would corrupt it, and there's every reason to fight for tradition, culture, and against deviancy. It's not because we're homosexuals, bigots or whatnot. What they do in their bedrooms is their business; they're more than welcome to stay there too.

“He says refusing a marriage license to people because they are gay won’t stop them from living together, so it accomplishes nothing.”

No one’s denying a marriage license to any one because they are gay. It just has to be to a member of the opposite sex. For that matter, refusing a marriage license to people who are involved in a polygamous or incestous relationship won’t stop them from living together, so it “accomplishes nothing.”

I have a cousin who is a small-time country singer(no one famous) who basically holds the same opinion as Keith. When I asked him if he would have any objections to legalized polygamy, he freely admitted he’d support that also. What made the conversation strange was that he also called homosexuals by the very politically incorrect “f word” term that would be labeled a “hate crime”. I really don’t think there’s a lot of discernment among many in the country music scene for this issue and many others.

If they want it to be private, why continue to publish it?

They cannot reproduce, so they can only recruit! And who will they recruit?

My and your children and grandchildren!

old Toby should ask some of the troops he puts on USO shows for what THEY think about gays in the Mil .....he would get an ear full

I was asking a young Marine what he thought about the appeal of DADT , about a year ago . He told me this : “ When they let me billet with female Marines and they let me shower with female Marines I will be down with no more DADT , until then , FORGET IT!....”

They shoved it down his throat anyway ( no pun intended )
This entire deal was rammed down the throats of the vast majority of STRAIGHT Mil folks . They hate it , but what can they do?
Well I have a few ideas , but America would never be the same thereafter .... Toby hasn’t got a clue . You DO NOT apply CIV social mores to MIL requirements
