WASHINGTON - Late Friday, the White House turned over new documents in the Congressional investigation into the ATF "Fast and Furious" gunwalking scandal.
The documents show extensive communications between then-ATF Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix office Bill Newell - who led Fast and Furious - and then-White House National Security Staffer Kevin O'Reilly. Emails indicate the two also spoke on the phone. Such detailed, direct communications between a local ATF manager in Phoenix and a White House national security staffer has raised interest among Congressional investigators looking into Fast and Furious. Newell has said he and O'Reilly are long time friends.
ATF agents say that in Fast and Furious, their agency allowed thousands of assault rifles and other weapons to be sold to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels. At least two of the guns turned up at the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry last December.

Actually this could be helpful if Hillary is going to be brought in to save the party IF it reminds enough people that the Clinton Regime was just as corrupt and evil as this one AND they paved the way with their damage to the rule of law.

This line from the memos isn’t a smoking gun but it is warm and smells:

In this judicial district (Arizona), in cases involving the “straw” purchase of firearms eventually recovered in Mexico and where we only have a confession by the “straw” and a falsified ATF F 4473 (form filled out by buyer and licensed gun dealer)...”
They have the buyer on one side of the border and the bought gun on the other. There may be a good explanation of not knowing about the transfer (say, caught for other reasons and paper trails merged), but there better be a paper trail proving it.
For his own sake I hope this O'Reilly fellow is a really light sleeper.

I think they’ve forged their limit, even though FR has several of their operatives here defending them.

O-Reilly now in Iraq...hum, I wonder if there is in Babylon the equalivant of Fort Marcy Park in Virginia. If so, please tell him to stay away. Also, he might be prudent to have all the files from his office secured in some safe facility far removed from anyone in the legal counsel office.
