Gov. Chris Christie is seriously rethinking his months of denials and may launch a campaign for the White House after all, a source close to the governor said tonight.
In the last week, Christie has been swayed away from his earlier refusals to run by an aggressive draft effort from a cadre of Republicans and donors unhappy with the GOP field, said the source, who was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.

I wear a tea party hat much of the time, and it has caused me to be able to engage many people that express that their views have changed.
It doesn't take much to bring them from the dark side to the light.
Educate your wife and she can take the message to her friends that have been similarity duped.
“And of course, Reagan announced in November, 1979.”
Reagan challenged Ford for the 1976 nomination and almost won it. Regan was the presumptive Republican nominee for the 1980 Presidential election the day after Ford lost the 1976 election to Jimmy Carter.
Oops ... “Reagan was the presumptive nominee ...”
Well she obviously has you going doesn’t she?
Chris Christie is Roman Catholic. I can't imagine he would be anything but pro-life. Sad to see folks so eager to smear the man without providing any back-up documentation for their assertions.
>>This is basically exactly the attitude of Reagan in his runs for the nomination. He was his own man. He wasn’t being run by the GOP strategists. He ran against them. <<
My point exactly. He wasn’t out there all wishy-washy, wringing his hands and wondering aloud if he would be compromised, wondering aloud if the Presidency might be too “shackling.”
Agree big time
He should stay out, I honestly don’t think he would make as great a president as many of the folk already in the field. I don’t know what others see in this guy.
New Jersey has a powerful governorship he gets things done cause hes got the power to get things done. To be honest his remarks about computerize turn me off. One does not compromise with the left, one lets them shut down the goverment and thus sit in the corner with none of the big expensive goverment goodies they want redistributed to themselves and their voters.
The left need to learn one is better then none. If they can’t accept what we are willing to give them and are instead insisted upon throwing a fit they should end up getting nothing. Exact the same nothing they get when the Government shuts down.
Chris Christie indeed is Roman Catholic, and indeed is pro-life; unfortunately, the fact that a politician, even a Republican, is Catholic does not, by itself, guarantee that such politician is pro-life. The last two Catholics on presidential tickets—Joe Biden and John Kerry—are both pro-abortion, as are Catholic Republicans such as Rudy Giuliani, Tom Ridge, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Susan Collins.
It’s silly to expect Palin to sound like Reagan. Different time, different people. However, she is still getting her message out, which seemed to be your point.
Whether you like the message or the messenger is a different issue.
I will certainly do so. Never said her perception was right, and I’m working on her. The Internet sure helps to dispel inaccurate ideas brought on my the MSM....

Also do not shoot me, but a person can also be a very good Catholic and still not be a Christian.
Same deal for any denomination. In fact many so called Christian Churches in America, the Minister has not received Christ.
A denomination will not save you, only a personal relationship with Christ.
We know that Sarah Palin is a Christian, we do not know that Christie is.
>>Is his Heart REALLY REALLY Into it?
PRESIDENT ELECT: "To protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of Aaaaaaaaaagggggggh..."
{thud}
CHIEF JUSTICE: "Does anybody here know CPR?"
Yeah, that's gonna work out just great.
For Palin, it is too late to get in, according to the GOP...
If fat-ass gets in, he served two years as Governor. This is fine according to the GOP...
Palin served 2.5 years as Governor. She is a quitter according to the GOP...
The GOP/DEMS are one in the same, people. Whomever they hate, tells you all you need to know.
Cristy is probably good for New Jersey and and the big RINOs and that is it/all.
I don’t expect palin to sound like Reagan... Not sure where you got that idea
Correction: “Most” thought Reagan would run in 1979 an undetermined “many” (but not most” think the same about Palin). Heck, I doubt “most” on this site think she will run.....though it would be close.
