With homosexuals now able to serve openly in the military, the gay rights movement’s next battleground is to persuade the Obama administration to end the armed forces’ ban on “transgenders,” a group that includes transsexuals and cross-dressers.

I didn’t realize the U.S. military had “official prayers”. Shinto prayers would be fine if that’s what our military wants. I was gonna say “when was the last time the Japanese blew up Americans” but...

What’s the use? Our Christian society is being destroyed by the left anyway. The left is also trying to destroy our military.

“These comments made it clear that the Hard Left was going to use homosexuality to purge the Christians out of the military. They were not going to allow chaplains to remain in the military who said that homosexuality was a sin. Vast sections of the American public are now in great danger as the Hard Left will be in control of the entire United States military. This is a danger Americans never had to face until now.
This is going to be a real purge, just as Stalin and all the tyrants in the past purged anyone who they even suspected might be a threat to them. The tyrants would simply kill their opposition or send them to a forced reeducation camp. The American purge is going to be much more subtle. There will be no bloodshed as it will be silent and cunning. Anyone in the military who speaks out will be court-marshaled, demoted, harassed or by whatever way possible forced to resign.
The military will be purged of anyone, from private to general, who will not go along with the Hard Left agenda. The military that remains will be morally beaten down and with soldiers that are godless; thus leaving the military without a soul. These will be the type of soldiers who will do whatever they are told. These are the type of soldiers who could be used against the American people.”

“I want men and women who will stand up to these kind of homosexual agenda, I want men and women who have guts to say no to the left and tell the old boys to pack up and piss off.

Conservatism isn’;t just fiscal, it is being conservative fiscal and socially, where we think families are a mom and dad or where traditional values have worked for generations and we are fed up of them being attacked to destroy this country.”

Very well said!

I think it's obvious that the left wingers hate our military and want to harm it.

I simply cannot see, given current conditions, that repealing “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” will lead to a compliant left-wing military ready to fight against American citizens.

Maybe I'll eat those words in twenty years. And yes, I know numerous people wearing the uniform who are seriously concerned about what it may mean to have open-and-out homosexuals serving in the military.

At present, I think it's obvious that any flagrantly homosexual man is going to have major problems in the Army. Of course, as with many things, the devil will be in the details of how that gets worked out.

I hope we get a margin so large in Congress in the next election that we can repeal many Obama policies, including this one, and never need to face the potential consequences of those policies.

you know if more republicans said this then they would get more votes.
The majority of people agree with the comment and yet we see the old boys running away from social issues as they are afraid of being called a name.
It really is pathetic isn’t it.

I would love to see a candidate say they are against the homosexual agenda being forced into American society, whether it be public schools, “marriage”, military, and stand up for religious freedom for Christians. At least Cain said he would take a hard look at muslims in his administration. I wish someone would say “I would never have muslims in my administration”. May not be politically correct, but they’d get my vote.
