NEW ORLEANS -- An Uptown neighborhood was clogged with cars Wednesday morning as 60 people showed up outside a home on Calhoun Street, demanding the removal of a sign of President Barack Obama in a diaper mounted on a fence.
The people gathered outside the home just off St. Charles Avenue said they came to express their frustrations over the "offensive" poster.
In the crowd was former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, and he said he already talked to homeowner Timmy Riley -- but the sign hasn't been removed.
Many residents said the poster is distasteful and disrespectful to the president and to African-Americans.
However, views over the sign were split among neighbors in the Uptown community.

I’ll bet the chimp pictures of Bush didn’t bother them.
Love it. “Change Me. I stink.” Haha. Awesome.
Wah, wah, wah!

Huh, like people should just do whatever he says because why? He was a Mayor? Get off my property and I will take down the sign if I want, too.
A picture of Chim-Chim in a diaper? And only 50 people show up to complain? And the MSM believes that this is news worthy?
Stupid. Silly. But damn funny.
Exactly. There were so-o many offensive signs regarding Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld in West LA when I lived there. No one commented it was wrong. These liberals are so thin skinned. Deep dish serve it out and can’t take it.
Love my Louisiana brethren.
..or the offensive photo’s of Condi Rice.....selective rage, period. Where was Admiral Nagin then?
I’d like to see a commercial for the “bystander President.” One picture with Obama covering his eyes, one of him covering his ears, and one of him covering his mouth. Chris Christie nailed it, Obama IS the “bystander President.”
They have no credibility here. The picture shows him clad in something not too far removed from his surf-frolicking shot of 2008. They didn’t seem to care about that.
....in a diaper is mild compared to in a camel.
Absolutely hysterical. Where can I get a copy of that sign that I can save in my computer?
Maybe they could replace that sign with one of Obambi sitting on his girls’ bike with that stupid grin on his face while wearing that bicycler’s bedpan on his head. That one is awesome too.
The downside of Chocholatism. A real life example.
neither did Bush dressed up like hitler roaming the streets of New Orleans- remember the CNN reporter? “oh- there’s someone familiar”...
Well well well, these folks are finally upset about someone showing “disrespect to the president.” Excuse me while I go cry them a river.
“Love it. Change Me. I stink. Haha. Awesome.”
Bahahahahaha! That is classic!
