Just a Headline at the moment. No story yet.

I’ll wait also.
Squeezing crossed finger, here!
Next, I bet Zero sends in his flying monkeys from the DOJ.
Bump.
Nah! That can’t be right. We’re talking a federal judge here.
Waiting for the press conference from La Raza Rick Perry denouncing the judge as a heartless racist.
A local Huntsville city councilman (I think) got in trouble for commenting on how much the jail’s salsa bill was going to go up as a result of this law.
LOL. A buddy of mine and I were wondering how many of the Mexican Restaurants here in Montgomery were going to have to close down, and also if we would be able to get our roofs fixed after the next hail storm. ;-)
“A federal judge has refused to block key parts of Alabama’s new law on illegal immigration, including its requirement to check the immigration status of students.”
>snip<
“She upheld the Obama administration’s objections to other sections of the law, including making it a crime for an illegal immigrant to solicit work or for anyone to transport or harbor an illegal immigrant.”

“U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Blackburn said the federal government had not met requirements to enjoin sections that make it a crime to not carry documentation, allow law enforcement to detain those they find to have ‘reasonable suspicion’ of being in the country illegally after stops; require schools to collect information on the immigration status of students and forbid state and local agencies from doing business with undocumented aliens.”
JUDGE - U.S. District Judge Sharon Blackburn
UPHELD:
Requirement to check the immigration status of students, and more importantly requires police to determine the status of suspected illegal immigrants.
BLOCKED:
making it a crime for an illegal immigrant to solicit work or for anyone to transport or harbor an illegal immigrant.
Casa Grande Blanca
Finally we’re seeing some judicial decisions that benefit the American people.
ROFLOL
Yeah, the flying monkey squad will be on the way back from Cal defending the indefensible loan guarantee to the Obama slush fund, er, Sylinda operation and from Arizona looking to buy back some weapons.
A snip from Wiki:
“On April 11, 1991, Blackburn was nominated by President George H.W. Bush to a new seat on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama created by 104 Stat. 5089. She was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 24, 1991, and received her commission on May 30, 1991. She has served as chief judge since 2006.”
Apparently, this is a "judge" who doesn't even know the laws:
8 U.S.C. § 1324 : US Code - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens
(a) Criminal penalties (1)(A) Any person who - (i) knowing that a person is an alien, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever such person at a place other than a designated port of entry or place other than as designated by the Commissioner, regardless of whether such alien has received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States and regardless of any future official action which may be taken with respect to such alien; (ii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law; (iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation; (iv) encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law; or (v)(I) engages in any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts, . . .
Think it said she issued a hold on that section, she could actually agree in final issue.
