AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Effectively, yes. It also has 0 precenditial value (i.e. cannot be used to support an argument).

The Emancipation Proclamation and the subsequent Constitutional amendments took all of their entitlement to slaves away. Not without a war.

bachmann is the ONLY one fighting obamacare I agree but she is not going anywhere in the presidential race. She has raised her profile so it may help her move into a leadership position in the next congress. We need her.

You have a point; however, I think Kennedy would love to be the guy that can be championed as establishing health care as a right. He’d be important historically and a legend (IN HIS OPINION.)
Kennedy has proven he has little value in the Constitution, given his hit and miss jurisprudence with respect to the Establishment and Freedom of Religion clauses. At least Souter was honest with who he was.

I believe Kennedy will side with the libs. I believe he IS a lib and won’t be able to help himself. *shrug* That’s just what I think. Recent court history is not on our side, IMHO.

leading in congress can't repeal obamacare if a president vetos the bill and congress can't overrule the veto
i stopped voting strategy and letting people tell me who is ‘electable’ - i am voting on records and what candidates say

no - i wondered about that too - congress can't take legislation to the scotus and ask if it is constitutional - nor can the president

Unfortunately the tie breaker always goes to the mushy middle kinds of people. (O’Connor, Souter, Kennedy) Naturally, the assholes who portrayed themselves as one thing and completely 180ed once they had their lifetime appointment.

I’m worried they’ll be no private healthcare industry to return to once the fools get done with this bill, if it ever is ruled unconstitutional, which I doubt.

i doubt it - but they really don't need to - the ones for obamacare will make up some excuse to support it and obama knows it
