What this means is right now, based on the data of a respected Democratic pollster, Democrats would if the election were held today suffer a wipeout that makes what happened to them in 2010 look like a walk in the park. And things are likely to get worse, not better, as the months roll on.

Music to my ears. But it’s too early to start celebrating.
Zero set out to destroy the USA. Hopefully the Republic survives, and he destroys only the Dem Party, for good....
Indeed. It's WAYYYY too early. Did we not have the same predictions about both the House and the Senate going to the GOP in 2010? Yes, they took the House, but the deplorable elections and reelections of dems in CO, WV, CA and NV killed hopes of a sweep.
We shall seek the truth and endure the consequences!
Obama must resign NOW!
By GOD I hope so. It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. I will never forgive that party for foisting that Marxist POS on us.
He’s wrecking he country as fast as Josh McDaniels wrecked the broncos. :-)
I remember the sweep Pres. Reagan made - that’s what I’m hoping for.
As much as I despise Obomba, I want our guy (or gal) to be running against him, NOT HILLARY.
I’m certain that at the highest levels of the DNC they are soiling their britches. How do we get rid of this clown without appearing to be racist?
To suffer more damage in the next election cycle, Dems are going to have to lose seats they still hold. After the 2010 blowout, they don't hold too many seats which are competitive in an ordinary year. They may lose badly enough in 2012 to lose 15 or 20 more seats, but the way the districts are drawn, they're getting pretty close to rock bottom in the House.
Nobody wants to see the Dems destroyed more than I do, but it's not going to happen as easily as Wehner seems to suppose.
If you could look up my comments on this forum right after the 2008 election concerning this topic, you would find the same sentiment expressed. But I wasn’t the only one who said that Obama’s policies would severely weaken the Dems, I also predicted they would be most harmful to the people who voted in the largest percentages for him: the African-American population. Obama has been a complete disaster for the people who love him the most. Unfortunately, they can’t see that.
I love good news. Somebody tell Barry to keep on truckin.
Yes, they took the House, but the deplorable elections and reelections of dems in CO, WV, CA and NV killed hopes of a sweep.
It’s a blessing in disguise. By taking only the House, Harry Reid and his crew are exposed as inept political cowards and spending was dramatically slowed. Now as we ponder taking all three branches of government, we have to be careful to insure that all branches work in concert for conservative govt. Having a GW Bush or McCain in charge of one branch would be a disaster and missed opportunity. That is what happened in 2000 and must not happen again.
Even if the Dem party is destroyed, we are still left with the 40% of voters who think Obama, and others like him, ought to be re-elected, and THAT, my FRiend, is the REAL problem.
I think W only got in trouble when he faced stiff opposition in congress, notable 2001-3 in the senate, giving us No Child left behind, and after 2007, when the Dems took over and extorted massive social spending to keep Iraq going. If your worried about Mitt, honestly as long as we have strong congressional majorities w/ a tea party bent, he will be just fine.
