Right, because your guy is losing, it is lame. Well, if you prefer polls done by CNN featuring “adults” then that is up to you.

Hey numbnnuts, read my posts. Perry (nor Mitt or whatever the hell you think) is not my guy and Cain IS one of my preferred choices. Read what I wrote about Perry a few hours ago. Read what I’ve been saying about him for a month.

There’s a choice smattering for you from the last 2 days alone.

Waiting for my apology.

This is lame because as Auh2orepublican pointed out in the post I pinged you to this NOT a scientific poll and screwsmax should have noted that.

Congrats, you managed to post some things about Perry. The fact that you name-call proves all that I need to know. You will be waiting for an apology, so don’t hold your breath. BTW, is the CNN poll scientific?

Again, you are calling names. I did not post foolishly. I stand behind what I said. You cant’ handle the fact that Cain is surging and that CNN was a bogus poll. Like Zogby or not, this holds true with the Florida straw poll. If anyone was foolish, it was you. BTW, you still haven’t answered why (and I don’t expect you too), how CNN is any more viable than Zogby.

Cain flunks the gun rights test.

Although Cain says he supports the Second Amendment, in the next breath he says he fully supports any and all state gun control/prohibitions.

That is like supporting federal rights for women and blacks, but allowing women and blacks to be slaves if the state laws permit them to be slaves.

I will not support any candidate who allows, and favors, individual states to outlaw guns, or to take away womens voting rights, or to allow slavery, or to prohibit free speech, etc. .

A)You started the hostility with me. When people get hostile or with me I “name call”. Don’t want to be “name called” then don’t get hostile with me.

B)As I said I LIKE CAIN (and BACHMANN) AND DON’T LIKE PERRY OR ROMNEY AND MY POSTINGS BARE THAT OUT. I think Cain is stonger candidate against Obama and I think he can win this nomination over Mick Pomney but it doesn’t appear he’s out in front yet. I want Cain to be ahead, this “poll” doesn’t mean he is. That is why I am angry and said that Newsmax is lame because this “poll” led me to get my hopes up. Then you have to come in all huffy NOT READING WHAT I PINGED YOU TO thinking I’m a Perrybot or something and that really really pisses me off cause I’ve spent a month combating those a-holes.

C)Read Au2orepublican’s post #78 (HE IS NOT A PERRYBOT EITHER) that I pinged you to. Zogby’s “poll” is an internet survey who’s results are borderline meaningless. His last “poll” months ago also had Cain ahead when he was in single digits everywhere else, that one also led me to get my hopes up and I’m embarrassed I forgot these “polls” aren’t accurate. I pinged you so you wouldn’t also go on thinking this “poll” was accurate.

D)No, polls of “adults” aren’t very accurate (but better than Zogby’s “poll” that is hardly better than a quick poll on a website), “registered voters” is better and “likely voters” is the best. If you want to know more about polling then ask AUh2orepublican, he is an expert on the subject.

Being soft on illegal immigration did NOT help him with Repub voters.

LOL, if you say so. I am glad you like Cain. But, this wasn’t a poll only posted on Newsmax. You are so hung up on this, that you fail to see this reported on Drudge, Levin, etc. Newsmax just featured it first. As to Zogby, whether you like it or not, he is considered to be a top pollster by many people, although his polls aren’t always accurate. And no, a poll of national “adults” is not better than his poll, because most of these adults don’t and won’t vote. For better or worse, his are likely voters. I wasn’t all huffy, I just pointed these things about these polls...you are so quick to name-call it is amazing. You should get your hopes up...Cain, even if he isn’t “first” is now in the top tier. Rasmussen bears this out too with his poll against Obama. Have you noticed that no polls have been released since the Florida straw poll...why is that? Cain is ahead, the media doesn’t want to admit this, but he is. He has won numerous straw polls (including Salems yeterday, he did well in IA and he is won Zogby by a bigger margin. The reason this Zogby is ok, is because it reflects the free-fall of the Perry campaign. Have faith...it will make you happier, I promise.

If I ran a news service I would make clear the methodology of the “polls” I reported on rather than use them to editorialize. Whatever, if this “poll” leads people to support Cain that is good, you are right. But I fancy myself as politically intelligent and prefer cold hard facts for my own consumption.

“Have faith...it will make you happier, I promise.”

Ha. Never. I’d much rather be pleasantly surprised than get my hopes crushed. I have learned that my favorite candidates and sports teams will lose, until they win. ;d

Sorry I called you an idiot or whatever, misunderstandings piss me off more than anything. I like clarity.

YEs, but we are on the same team. WE know Cain is surging...despite polls from PPP etc, we know our guy is taking momentum back. My only point was that we couldn’t use CNN as a bellweather for these polls.

You wrote:

In contrast stand the facts of what he actually said, in context:

BLITZER: All right. Let’s talk about gun control. Do you support any gun control?

CAIN: I support the Second Amendment.

BLITZER: So you don’t — so what’s the answer on gun control?

CAIN: The answer on gun control is I support strong — strongly support the Second Amendment. I don’t support, you know, onerous legislation that’s going to restrict people’s rights in order to be able to protect themselves as guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

BLITZER: Should states or local governments be allowed to control the gun situation? Or should...

CAIN: Yes.

BLITZER: The answer is yes?

CAIN: The answer is yes. That should be a state’s decision.
