President Obama's Speech - Wednesday Sept. 28th @ 10:30 a.m. President Obama will give his third annual address to students across the country. He will share comments regarding the importance of education. The broadcast is scheduled to be televised on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 10:30 a.m. Arizona time. We will provide the opportunity for students to watch this address. For information about the speech, please visit whitehouse.gov. Our schools will honor a parent’s request to excuse their students from this activity. Please contact your child’s school if you would like to pursue this option. Thank you.

All Arizona schools should be opting out by order of the Governor. it is not appropriate for the President to be making addresses to school children.
The President does not rightfully have anything to do with education and therefore should have nothing to do with the children. If the president is going to address people he needs to address the adults who pay taxes, vote, and fight wars.

Our daughter and several close friends are teachers. They will not show him either. Our and the next closest districts won't show him at all.
