Obviously if there had actually been lots of illegal guns going to Mexico as the anti-gun nuts claimed, they wouldn’t have needed this scheme in the first place.

Before the feces contacted the impeller, I recall hearing news reports that the majority of weapons used by Mexican drug cartels were purchased legally in the United States and then smuggled across the border into Mexico. Even if it wasn't true, it could be made to be true.

IMHO, this is an impeachable offense, or would be for any other president, except the One.

AND - a whole lot of money was involved and where is it now? We don't know how many guns were sold, how much they were sold for, who specifically sold the guns and to whom they were sold, or where the money is today. This is rico - plain and simple.
