Retailers Are Put on the Spot Over Anti-Gay Aid By ERIK ECKHOLM September 25, 2011
Matthew Ryan Williams
A handful of advocates, armed with nothing more than their keyboards, have put many of the countrys largest retailers, including Apple, Microsoft, Netflix and Wal-Mart, on the spot over their indirect and, until recently, unnoticed roles in funneling money to Christian groups that are vocal in opposing homosexuality.
The advocates are demanding that the retailers end their association with an Internet marketer that gets a commission from the retailers for each online customer it gives them. It is a routine arrangement on hundreds of e-commerce sites, but with a twist here: a share of the commission that retailers pay is donated to a Christian charity of the buyers choice, from a list that includes prominent conservative evangelical groups like the Family Research Council and Focus on the Family.
The marketer and the Christian groups are fighting back, saying that the hundred or so companies that have dropped the marketer were misled and that the charities are being slandered for their religious beliefs.

Form a group of like minded associates. Rally members to your cause. Accuse your enemies of hate and bigotry. Threaten business with boycotts for supporting your enemies. Threaten politicians with dismissal from office. It works for them. If you have more on your side they will comply. A tea party on steroids would be the closest image in my mind.
you will need the mark of the homo beast to buy or sell.
Some day Christians and/or conservatives, or whatever mainstream group is being targeted indirectly by far left extremists, need to start fighting back by boycotting any retailer that reacts to threats such as this.
They could end any retailer’s responding to such pressure because there are many times more Christians and conservatives than far left activists.
Boycott those who respond to far left extremists’ demands.
To clarify one thing, I think that personal boycotts are great. It is organized and public boycotts that sometimes end up backfiring, and I hope that any leftist boycott might do that in this case.
As far as personal boycotts, one should follow one’s conscience, even if it out of step with the current social and political climate. (My family laughs at me because I refuse to eat in any restaurant named after female body parts.) But, just looking at the numbers, boycotting evil, while necessary and appropriate, is probably not as effective as giving concrete support to those who oppose evil. We need to be ready to support the good guys who have the courage to stand firm against the footsoldiers of Satan.
Homosexuality is a pervasive, infectious virus, like the HIV it spreads. If not stopped, it will kill its host.
It does not want to be treated equal, it wants to devour everything.
Whoever compiles the list, please make sure it has been checked & cross checked for accuracy.
Where are the Black Churches on this?
“They could end any retailers responding to such pressure because there are many times more Christians and conservatives than far left activists.”
True, but gays have many times the disposable income than other groups as they typically don’t have kids.
Those who do get mad, care, and take action.
The gay blades want economic war, then that's what they get ~ economic war.
LOL
Being less than 5% of the population, they don't have enough disposable income to match a group ten or more times their size. And I doubt they have "many times" the disposable income; more likely 50% to 100% more.
