How will Rick Perry advance the conservative cause? Will Rick Perry's coattails result in taking control of the senate and building a super-majority in the house?
The answer is no. A President Perry will only mark time, like George W. Bush, and set the state for another liberal/socialist victory in four years time.
We need a real conservative as our nominee. One who will be elected in a landslide and have the necessary coattails to gain control of the Senate and build a much larger majority in the House.
Rick Perry and Mitt Romney will not do that. They are both very liberal and will result in a mixed Congress that will ensure there is no forward motion with respect to conservatism.
Who do you suggest?
Umm by suing the EPA and the federal Gov over Their BS Regulations on Coal fired Electric plants and their BS moratorium on gulf drilling?
By sending the feds notice that they are responsible for the border issue and requesting boots on the ground?
By sending the same asshats a bill for illegals sitting in Texas Jail?

No kidding — and who do you suppose can do that, aside from Rick Perry?
Yes, I know you are dreaming of Sarah. Some day you’ll wake up and all the rest of us can tell you “we told you so”, but that won’t help any of us, because you and people detached from reality as you are will give us Obama for four more years.
This same detachment from reality of “waiting for Fred” split the conservative vote and gave us McCain, hence Obama.
As I said before, if not Perry, it’s Romney, if Romney, it’s Obama.
Palin won’t run, if she runs she will just help Romney get the nomination, by splitting the conservative vote, and if Romney, it’s Obama.
