My husband and I are delegates and we voted for Cain.this Man showed up to win! The others blew us off and we could tell. Newt, Santorium also stayed and spoke. The others cut and ran. Didn’t matter though because my mind was made up Friday morning! Now hit the ground and run! Florida has proven that Grassroots activism DOES work.

With a crappy economy, running a successful conservative no nonsense businessman would probably be a damn good idea.

Those that represented Floridians in this straw poll represented the public well. We will not be dictated as to who are candidate will be. Romney and Perry are terribly flawed and do not represent a good portion of the folks. It is the people that should decide not the money folks and the elites. We The People stood up today. Awesome stuff!!

Yeah buddy! Great pic.

After weeks of seeing RINO Mitt Perry as the 'frontrunner' it is good to finally see a conservative do well.

I think we should thank Perry for torpedoing his campaign like he did.

Woo Hoo, great news, especially when the Paul and Romney camps are known for stacking these things by buying up all the tickets. Cain is winning people over, not just shipping them in.

>>Florida Republicans are OBVIOUSLY RACIST!

He’s BLACK?!?!? I’ve gotta change my vote. It isn’t too late, is it? </sarc>

Cain makes more sense that the rest put together. It’s a damn shame that the media and GOP will destroy him if he gets too much attention (like, ummm, winning the Florida straw poll by a huge margin).

Jim - Ditto everything you said.

I am/have been waiting for Palin. But I too need a back up candidate. And for the past 3-4 weeks it was Perry. But his performance at the debate ended that.

I always liked Cain, but I just thought he was a fringe candidate. But this win could give him some credibility and mojo.

I would be more than happy hitching my wagon to the Cain Train.

The biggest group of racist and bigots reside on the Left.

Absolutely. And they are sure to attack black man Herman Cain at which time, and applying their own logic, they will be seen as racists.

I’m starting to wonder if Cain hasn’t already tapped Palin’s shoulder.

Cain sure was anxious to play the “pick a running mate from the stage” game (last question of fla debate)

He has come from nothing and achieved measurable, positive results at every position. He turned around the worst performing region for BK which at that time was owned by Pillsbury, to the most profitable within 18 months. He did this by being an accountable leader and manager. He is also the one citizen most responsible for stopping Hillarycare in its tracks. He confronted Hillarita and left her a stumbling bumbling arrogant doofus.

As for foreign policy and other issues I am comfortable he will delegate and appoint the individuals who have the expertise to implement his (which are consistent with the best interests of the US) strategy.

Time to board the Cain Train!

Eventually the Cain Train will hitch up to the Palin Train and then the quest to take back our country will begin in earnest!
